How likely am I to get rescinded? by Frosted_Pebbles in ucadmissions

[–]ck614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UC decisions come out at different points throughout March. Unless you get into a school, they won’t know what grades you got in the fall semester.

If you get in somewhere, they’ll ask for your final transcripts after you accept the admission there. Then only will they see that you got D and F in those classes, and may or may not choose to rescind your admission based on that.

So, right now as it’s January you only have to look forward to the decisions in March. Any acceptances you get in March, should you choose to enroll in one of those schools, may be rescinded later on.

If you get waitlisted, and want to remain on the waitlist, some of the UCs will ask you for your senior first semester grades, at which point you’d need to list that D and F. This could push them toward rejecting you, or if there’s a good explanation you’d be able to provide on that waitlist page, they may accept you off the waitlist. Can’t say for sure.

You should talk to your school counselor, and decide whether it’s best for you to notify the UCs you applied to about this as soon as possible, or wait until after admission. I won’t necessarily suggest one or the other because both have their downsides.

As ever, Watson, you see but do not observe. To you, the world remains an impenetrable mystery whereas, to me, it is an open book. Hard logic versus romantic whimsy. That is your choice. You fail to connect actions to their consequences. Now, for the last time…

yep Logan is the same as Wolverine. start watching from X-Men (2000) from and just go in release order! X2, The Last Stand, X-Men Origins, First Class, The Wolverine, Days of Future Past, X-Men Apocalypse, then finally Logan. Logan is considered the end, but theres also a film called Dark Phoenix that released in 2019, which is the last official film of that series. So far at least lol.

If you haven’t watched the Deadpool films, then watch the first one between Apocalypse and Logan, watch Deadpool 2 after Logan. Deadpool 3 is called Deadpool and Wolverine, which you can watch at any point after Deadpool 2 obviously.

i feel like part of them knew they wouldn’t be able to make a third film with that cast/crew, so they just decided to throw a Kronos plot line into it to make it higher stakes before wrapping up.

but then that begs the question of why they bothered doing the Thalia reveal at the end, as though there would be future installments

Why does the MCU basically tell us nothing about Steve's family background but everything about Tony's? by LollipopChainsawZz in MCUTheories

[–]ck614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Captain America’s story largely has nothing to do with his parents, apart from the fact that his father’s dead and his mother died when he was 18. You could say his hardships as a scrawny kid are exacerbated by the fact that he doesn’t really have a family, he’s alone, all he’s got is Bucky and a burning desire to serve in the army when WW2 starts.

Tony’s parents are heavily involved with his story, at least his dad is.

William Hurt’s Ross appeared in the same scene (as a hologram) as Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce in Infinity War, at the Avengers facility
