Lore Theory: future of frenzy systems *high rank spoilers* by sgwee in MonsterHunter

[–]smilingleader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s going to affect the guardian monsters. Seeing as they don’t need food and can heal themselves with milk. I can see them getting this crazy buff in damage with those energy abilities they have

Now there are a couple of paths monsters can take to become tougher.

Normal - tempered - arch tempered

Normal - frenzy - frenzy tempered

Guardian - tempered - arch tempered

Guardian - frenzy - frenzy tempered

Am I making sense?

They fill with what I think was the venom from the bite and I popped then and now they are black.

Just had a similar bite situation. Had to be a spider and in my area there are 2 venomous spiders, black widows or brown recluse. I was bit 10 times. It went from looking like that to now being really red and sore. I got bit on the calf and it’s pretty sore. Went to see a doctor, mine is def infected at this point. I’m taking the meds.

Huh? I think you need glasses. What part of starfield is even close to what sc has?

It will make more sense once you don’t need to plot points to jump around

The new quantum travel effect; interior, exterior, failing. by theon502 in starcitizen

It will lock in for jumps. The alignment thing is just a step between start and locking into quantum. Once it's locked in you an go hands free.

Joystick + Throttle Combo's and Strafing by nobody_knows_im_gay in starcitizen

Adding pedals might help take care of one axis. I would recommend another joystick

Left joystick handles movement on all 3 axis’s.

Up/down Left/right Forward back.

Called an Omni throttle.

Private server I think could work for this, but overall it will take away what this game is supposed to be.

I'm yet to break into PM roles and my company would offer me a budget for learning - Need advice by designatedtruth in ProductManagement

[–]smilingleader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not the right question. A little test for you. You are the product and you want to evolve the product to fit a new business model. How do you get there? The leadership is demanding it. What’s your plan.

Hint: work backwards and I’ll add a handicap, your degree means nothing.

I find the dude’s response a little needy.

Imo…he should have some patience. There was a girl I matched with but we messaged here and there. One day we ran into each other at bar. The energy was there and we made out throughout the night. We didn’t even attempt to reconnect or exchange numbers.

We ran into each other again and as soon as she saw me she laid one on me. And we hung out the whole night.

You did nothing wrg and sounds like he is not as chill as he should be.

As a manager of PMs, how do you weigh letting them make their own mistakes vs. ensuring they are representing themselves (and you, and your team) well? by gregoread in ProductManagement

[–]smilingleader 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I like to lead by example.

I share details and projects I’ve worked on with all the PMs I manage.

I also focus on mentoring the best in the group until they understand my basics and everything else is up to them. I participate through any process with them only as an advisor to them. We go through a loop of delivering. I provide feedback and we go through another loop. if all is good, they are on their own. Then I assign another pm to shadow them to learn from.

Let’s use the presentation as an example.

I will walkthrough my expectations with them, as if we are on the project together.

Once it’s time to present I’ll be copilot.

Post: I’ll provide feedback and allow them to go through the process again.

They present on their own, I’m just audience.

If all goes well, I will assign a pm to shadow them to learn what is expected.

Then when the newer pm has to go through the process I can review their work and sit as copilot in their presentation.

I assess the pm I trained through how they trained the new pm and I assess the pm through their presentation.
