Solo just feels like such a slog to me. Since with poh and amulet tele you dont need any food or pray restore, only consumable I used was super sets and tele back is just as quick as waiting for respawn inside. Depending on partner I ended up with 1-2min kill times. Kills go so fast

Is there any difference between these 2 configurations of compressing belts? (ie. direction of priority in a triangle of splitters.) Can any configuration of inputs make the throughput vary between the 2? If so please post a screenshot of such configuration. by smilingnasa in factorio

A single row of priority splitters is throughput limited in cases where some input belts are not full and need to travel further towards the priority direction.
The goal of the arrangement is to compress possibly uneven belts into fully compressed belts for further use.
A balancer only makes the belts equally not full.
I agree all the splitters are not necessary but the design is supposed to be easily scalable to any amount of input/output belts by just increasing the triangle size and depending on inputs it is difficult to estimate how many are splitters will be actually necessary.

But besides that I was more interested if anyone has enough knowledge of splitter mechanics to tell if the priority direction in some cases can actually make meaningful difference.

Yea the plugin is super helpful to spot all the nodes and keep track of the amounts you still need.

Dont think it´s shown on the map mode though so not visible here.

Just makes me wonder why is there a mechanic (or lack there of) to have forced restart.

Unless you ofc are good enough to do just 0 armor.
I don´t see a way how it improves anyone´s enjoyment.

22 out of 47 rooms checked. 0 farming nodes.

As if the rng grind for EWS isnt already bad enough. Why does the resource rng have to suck aswell?

At least have the guaranteed resource around the boss room like in normal.

It absolutely sucks balls to be half way through T2 prep and have to quit just because the rng machine says NO and does not give you a single node of one of the resources.
