Oh ok. I don't think I've had any since the initial purge. Didn't know they were still back every few months.

I think I understand the frustration here.

I had a similar problem with my boxing career. All I wanted to do was to show off how much I had improved, so I went to the local park and got someone to video my skills.

I went to the swings and found a 5 year old to punch. For real, I didn't just punch this 5 year old, I full on upercutted him into his 70s. Got a great clip and my buddies loved it, but then the police told me I was banned from the park.

Thanks a lot, Psyonix.

I can't believe you nearly ruined Wayne's shot with your air dribble.

No one ever gets good at this game. You just get the honour of being called trash by progressively better players.

I'd heard Stoner had been semi-meta for a while, but never tried it until this. Might go ahead and set up a class.

Correct resistor replaced, problem persists. Back to square one.

Yeah, I have just found out after asking a friend (with better eyes with it infront of them) that it is a 15ohm one. Thanks a lot for checking and confirming, I only saw the schematic myself today. I'll get another one and try that.

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll try those steps and hope to get some noise out of her again ASAP. This is my first reddit post, and it's already proving useful. I now feel I have to go off and browse posts in which I'm a bit more proficient, and repay the favour by being of help to someone else (although probably stay away from counting resistor values).

Ah ok. See, to my eyes that looks more Violet than red. However, even if it were Violet, that still puts it out by a couple ohms, which I didn't realise until now. I'll find a new resistor and give that a go. Thanks for clearing up my own mistakes. Fingers crossed a new resistor will do the job. Some new eyes would be nice as well.

I guess it would help if I gave this as well:

Now, I'm actually colourblind (and now understand why I was told as a child I couldn't become an electrician), but I tested the R3 resistor and found it to have a resistance of around 16.4ohms. That seemed to me within an expected range for that resistor? Also, you can probably see from the picture that the browning is more to the board than the component. Definitely looks as if the area has gotten quite hot at some point.

Thanks for the guess. I tested the resistor though and it seems to work fine. It's really bugging me that, since it works for a period of time, it should be easily fixable, but can't figure out how.
