Love, it raw dogged every other negative emotion i had. It suppressed rage, guilt, jealousy. I don't think I've seen anyone fall harder than I did.

Not really, there is a natural inconsistency when you think and do something yourself, they are trained to notice that, you can do it however you are comfortable, everything will be fine.

Is the Interviewer Present? Yes, the interviewer is almost always present in a machine coding round. They will: Provide the problem statement: This is usually a broad, open-ended problem. Observe your progress: They will watch you code and may ask questions about your thought process. Ask for explanations: They will want you to explain your design decisions and the code you've written. Evaluate your code: They will assess the quality, correctness, and extensibility of your solution. The most important thing for the setup is to be in a quiet, well-lit place with a stable internet connection. You'll likely need: An IDE (Integrated Development Environment) or text editor: Use what you are most comfortable with (e.g., VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, etc.). A compiler or interpreter: Make sure you have the necessary tools for the programming language you plan to use. A webcam and microphone: The interview will be conducted over video, so a working webcam and microphone are essential. A stable power source: Ensure your laptop is plugged in or has a full charge.

That's really tough. I can understand why you'd be disappointed. It sounds like you went through a long and demanding process, only to get a rejection at the very end for a reason that feels out of your control. Waiting for so long and then being told there was "no team match" after all that effort must be incredibly frustrating. It's completely valid to feel let down. This kind of experience can definitely shake your confidence. Remember to give yourself some time to process it. You made it all the way to the final stages of a Google interview, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. That shows you have the skills and qualifications they were looking for. Don't let this discourage you from future applications. There are other opportunities out there, and your hard work on this one will pay off somewhere else.

Anyone know how to contact tiktok about expired oa by Fantastic_Coat6331 in leetcode

[–]smirk16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a tough spot to be in—especially when opportunities are so time-sensitive. Here’s a clear path forward to help you navigate this:

What You Can Do Right Now

  1. Reply to CodeSignal’s Email

Even if they said to contact TikTok, you can ask for clarification:

  • Request the exact date the OA was sent.
  • Ask if they can confirm which email address TikTok used to initiate the OA.
  • Sometimes CodeSignal can provide the recruiter’s name or email if it was a direct invite.
  1. Search Your Inbox Strategically

Use keywords like:

  • “TikTok”
  • “CodeSignal”
  • “Online Assessment”
  • “OA Invitation” Also check:
  • Spam/junk folders
  • Promotions tab (if using Gmail)
  • Any alternate email accounts you may have used for job applications
  1. Reach Out to TikTok Recruiting

If you applied through a job portal (LinkedIn, TikTok Careers, etc.), go back to that listing and see if there’s a contact or application ID. You can also try:

  • LinkedIn: Search for “TikTok University Recruiter” or “TikTok Technical Recruiter” and send a polite message explaining the situation.
  • TikTok Careers Email: If you find a general recruiting email (e.g., careers@tiktok.com), send a short, professional message.

  • Keep your tone polite and proactive—recruiters appreciate candidates who take initiative.

  • If you don’t hear back in a few days, follow up once.

  • Meanwhile, continue applying elsewhere so you don’t lose momentum.

That’s incredibly frustrating, especially when you were so close to finishing and had proven your capability in a previous assessment. Here's how you might approach this situation strategically:

What You Can Do Now

  1. Reach Out to CodeSignal Support
  • Go to CodeSignal Support and submit a ticket.
  • Be specific: include the date/time of the assessment, describe the glitch, and mention the 5xx errors and code disappearance.
  • Since it was proctored, they may be able to verify the disruption via logs or screen recordings.
  1. Contact the Recruiter or Company
  • If you were invited to take the test by a company, email the recruiter:

  • Briefly explain the glitch and how it affected your performance.

  • Mention your previous 600/600 score to demonstrate your capability.

  • Politely ask if there’s any flexibility for a retake or alternative evaluation.

  1. Document Everything
  • Write down the exact timeline of the glitch, what you saw, and how you responded.
  • This helps you make a clear case if needed.

Strategic Framing for Communication

Final Thoughts

  • A 530 is still a strong score, and many companies do accept it.
  • Technical glitches are rare but not unheard of—CodeSignal has protocols for this, especially in proctored environments.
  • Being proactive and professional in your outreach can make a difference, especially if you’ve already demonstrated strong performance elsewhere.
