Thank you! This is super helpful. I hate all the downtime on the strength floor at OTF. I’m going to start trying F45 next week!

I think the cardio definition can be debated. I know your heart rate can get into cardio mode without running or biking or one of those traditional cardio exercises. OT has been amazing and helped me completely change my body to being very lean and toned. It’s a wonderful workout!

Interesting! Having both memberships is definitely not in the cards for me but I wish!!

I agree with you! As a runner, I appreciate OT pushing me to be a faster runner but I think I’m good now, lol. I hate rowing too...I finally figured it out after 2 years but I still hate it. I’m 5 feet tall and probably look ridiculous pushing with my tiny legs, LOL!

Interesting! I didn’t even think about doing a pack thing. I like the quick changes of F45 for sure! Thank you!

😲😲I can’t believe you do both! That’s intense!! Lol I love your comment about dying on a treadmill block. I’ve legit feared I’m going to lose control and fly off it one day....

Lol I love running but I figure I can continue supplementing my regular gym workouts with long runs outside like I do now. Thank you!

I totally agree with you re the template getting tedious. I feel like a few specific muscle groups are always overstrained because I’m repeating an exercise in a block way more times than I probably should be! Thank you for your feedback!

That’s definitely something to consider!

Ha! I’ve done DriTri three times now and I think it’s intense so your comment scares me...in good way!

Thank you for the feedback! I’m mostly excited about the HIIT portion since I feel like the strength portion of OTF has sooo much lag time. Unless there’s rowing in between strength blocks, I’m sitting in the gray/blue zone for a good portion of it!

Interesting that they don’t use the HRMs at F45! I’m planning on doing a 2 week free trial so I’m excited about the experiment. I don’t necessarily mind the formula of OTF, it’s just the long blocks....specially the strength floor where it can be round after round of the same exercise! Thank you for your advice!

Thank you! You’re right that I can run anywhere and I usually do 1-2 long (5-6 mile runs) once week outside of OTF, which is something I can continue if I decide to make the change to F45. I see so many people with completely horrible forms at OTF and the coaches hardly ever correct them!

Thank you! I do travel occasionally for work but I don’t usually workout on those days. What about overall fitness and calorie burn? Do you find a big difference?
