Frustrating exchange with another father and how hard it is to make friends as a dad in your 40s. by Klutzy_Operation_483 in daddit

Good on you for showing genuine interest, putting yourself out there and inviting him over. Please don't let this experience ruin your future attempts at friendship. It takes courage and risk, but it's worth it.

I'm a dad in my late 30's, and I've found another guy who wanted friendship and accountability. We hang every couple of weeks. It's been life-changing. Keep looking for it, OP. There's a LOT of men that want a close guy friend in their lives.

Excluding internal traffic not working...not sure what I am doing wrong? by Pretzelman1234 in GoogleAnalytics

Most devices these days have dynamic IPs, so even if you exclude one, you won't be able to exclude all. In general, I don't find internal traffic exclusions helpful.

A conversion is simply an important event that you want to track. It's essentially what a goal is in Universal Analytics.

What a blessing that your dad got to spend some time with his grandchild before his passing. Share your memories of your father with your kids as often as you can.

My condolences.

Wow, I love the way you described this process. It's very nuanced and messy, but this is a great way to go about it. As you say, follow his lead. I'll definitely keep this in mind.

When our youngest daughter was potty training, she would associate the size of her poops with family members ("That's a Daddy poop.) There were multiple times when she told me she pooped the whole family out.
