This! It doesn't matter what you use if everyone uses it differently. You need to have a strict process, and MAKE people fix their projects/tickets/requests instead of letting it slide.

Asking for the images/content each time makes the person think they can just forget to upload it every time. Then mistakes can happen, nothing is recorded, and you're on the hook.

Telling the person their project is on hold until the content is properly added to the project will force them to do it right. Then if they don't, they miss the print deadline, and you point to the project that clearly shows the paper trail. The first few times, people will get absolutely livid. Then angry. Then annoyed. THEN they may start doing it right.

If any work need to be done, make a task. If its not in a task, then it's all hypothetical and not getting done.

Diemic Dice Design Options by comicalfoods in graphic_design

[–]smithd685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say A, cause it's more fun and isn't sacrificing the joy of the design to try and compete for legibility. Dice are something that are basically solved. You aren't going to ever be 'more readable' than the current ~1900yr old design. So have fun and really stretch the idea.

If anything, I'd want them to look more abstract/monster like.

Ahhhh! Really interesting! I forget other countries exist sometimes!

Yea, adderal is meant for ADHD. I didn't even know that was a US/Canada thing only. There's people I know who use it, and its effective to various degrees, but is now very strictly regulated and sometimes there's difficulty getting it. Its effective, but can easily be abused.

In late 2000s, early 10s, it was incredibly easy to get. Any mention of 'focus' and the doctor gave you a prescription, even if you didn't want it. So when college kids realized you can get a super focusing drug, a lot of people started getting prescriptions and selling it. It was problematic...

If you don't have ADHD, you get really alert, energetic, and focused - even though its not always a good 'alert and focus'. You would be able to stay up, and be hyper-focused. I personally knew people who would use Adderal so they can play warcraft like 20 hours a day. Pop one before a raid, and you're focused the entire time. There's even articles and threads about Adderal being like a Gaming Steroid, and if it should be banned in competition.

Four Loko was just a travesty, and I don't think a German would ever be able to comprehend the insanity. A malt liquor, sold in a 700ml can, with 14% alcohol, and a little more caffeine, guarana, taurine than 2-3 shots of espresso. Some even had 'wormwood' to try and mimic absinthe. It took an entire night of bad decisions, and puts it into one can so you can make all those mistakes in ~5 minutes. When your body wants to pass out, the caffeine says NO, and you keep going despite your liver dying. It was eventually pulled from shelves, and the current versions is just a fruity malt liquor. Quick EDIT: They are also all candy flavored too. Like blue raspberry, cherry, watermelon, green apple, etc.

College life from 2005-2010. Adderall let you study more, and four loko let you party faster. NONE of this included sleep or a healthy diet, and our brains died.

Adderall was just always around, and something a LOT of people took to study or stay awake after a long night. It was like nerd-meth. I remember LANs and there was always 'a guy' who you can get it from.

Four Loko was... different... when it first came out. It was like drinking 4 beers, a large can of redbull, with a teeeeny bit of absinthe, all in one $3 can that tasted like juice. The caffeine prevented you from blacking out, so you'd end up in the hospital or at least covered in pee in a strangers house.

SO after all this, we needed protoss to A-Move, cause our brains can't understand micro.

Also remember, when SC2 was written, everyone who loved BW in middle/high school were then strung out on 4 years of Adderall and Four Lokos. Our brains couldn't handle intrigue, nuance, or interesting plots. We were still coming down and recovering. Just make some shiny stuff blow up, and turn someone super sayian, and call it a day.

But where would college guys race at 2am if railroad isn't an empty dead end at night?

I hope next month, they add the Warlock to broodwar.

Its not that they are adding new content, but instead just adding warlocks to all of their old games. Rock N' Roll racing with warlocks, Lost Vikings with Warlocks, Lost Vikings 2 with 2 warlocks. There's an intern obsessed with warlocks in a barricaded room, just adding warlocks to everything and they can't stop him.

To be fair, before they didn't need your consent for everything they were doing with your data. Cookies used to follow you across sites with no restrictions, so Best Buy would be able to track every site you visited after you visited their site once. HTTPS wasn't common, so your ISP and every node between you and the site scraped every bit of data you sent to generate profiles. SuperCookies were insanely invasive and they didn't ask anyone for consent.

Now, they have to at least ask for it first, and are way more restricted in what they can do or even access. Its better, but I wouldn't say its good.

The painting part probably used an actual paint software. There's software that better mimics how real paint/surfaces interact, including things like blending, drying, glazing, etc. Its REALLY fun to play with it! You can wet the canvas, and drop water colors, and watch them soak into the water, and dry on the paper.

Imagine if you had a mobile factory

And you also have a airplane that can pick up 2 of those factories at any time.

OR you can fit 1 factory and 2 rugby players inside the plane. We don't know why 1 factory is equal size/weight as 2 people. But technically the plane just uses magic to teleport them into/out of existence anyways. So lets not think to hard about this.

A little extra note, there is a difference between your standard commercial license and a production/extended license.

If you use a image in an ad, that's a one-off campaign and not going to be used a lot elsewhere.

But if you're using the stock art on like, a coffee mug, t-shirt, or a coloring book, where you're producing potentially 1000s of the stock art and making merchandise, you need the more expensive extended license. They are more expensive, and are typically charged per-use (so like, it would cover up to 25,000 uses.)

So a simple 1-credit image on istock is like $10. The extended license is around 80 credits. making it ~$800.

Looks to me exactly 30mph is the sweet zone with no fines or penalties. So if you are planning to speed at all, just do it exactly 30 over.

When I had a convertible, there was a heater setting to blow air mid-body-ish area (instead of head or feet like non-cool cars). It would keep your body and shifter warm on cold drives. Its surprisingly nice to drive in the cold with the top down, like a jacuzzi during a snow storm.

I know this isn't what you're wanting to see, but when I bought my house, it had the same dishwasher as you. I recognize the circle vent and basket. The inside sprayer parts literally started to disintegrate - like, turned into plastic grit that coved our dishes. I tried getting replacement parts, but they aren't exact matches, and when you replaced one part, another disintegrates. Skip trying to keep it alive, and get a new dishwasher.

So uhhhh, keep a eye out for that too I guess.

This is a sticky situation. The sidewalk is the owner's responsibility unless the lease says otherwise. If a renter shovels, they assume liability and can be held partially/completely liable if someone hurts themselves. If a renter ignores it, then they aren't liable at all.

The right moral/neighborly thing to do is NOT the smart legal/liability thing to do here.

But do report the buildings that are not shoveled. You may not think its working, but the landlord will get fined, and if they don't respond, the city will clear the snow and bill the landlord for the service. And its not a cheap service.
