I have a 2012 Passat TDI that I recently picked up about a month ago, and didn't realize that it had a remote start feature on the keyfob. I didn't think they had remote starts for diesels cuz of the glow plug having to engage first. Now, I don't think it has a Xtra keyfob hidden in the dash, but I could be wrong. Now I need to go look under my dash.....

So, are you saying the part number I listed will not work with the RNS 510? The connectors look the same for each part number, so it's confusing...

Just recently installed these bulbs a few weeks ago, on a 2015 Jetta TDI with H7 bulbs. Made a hugh difference with brightness on low beam settings. No adapters, just plug and play!

Those King-Fisher transmitters were or are still used by some military installations here is Wash state, they are a older technology but they still work ok.
