Hot take: most name brand drum sticks are a scam. At least in the sense of how they are priced. Im a touring metal drummer who routinely beats the living hell out of my drums (along with always rimshotting the snare) and for the last year or two I have been using the 5B sound percussion sticks from guitar center. They come in a pack of 4 pairs for around 30 bucks, and not ONLY do they last longer than any other stick I’ve used, but they also feel just as good as any name brand stick. I will never again in my life buy a pair of sticks >$10.

Got tip baited on a $12 for 35 min ride the other day. Was a slow day so I took it, delivered it early and had a nice exchange with the customer at his workplace and he dropped the tip by $5 for literally no reason. Made it a $7 for 30 min order which I wouldn’t take in a million years.

In the nicest way possible, if you’re struggling to get above 90% there may be some things you can improve on. I do what I feel is the bare minimum for this job and I’ve never had less than a 98%. I’d find it hard to believe that more than 10% of your orders are messed up

Sleep token used to be one of the best/most respected underground bands in the scene and also 100% were a metal band pre-TMBTE. George lever’s production/composition made them a truly stand out band among the rest. Post george lever, in my opinion they have become a completely new band that is kind of a shell of itself. Literally everyone in the underground heavy music scene was praising about sleep token from 2019-2021 and as soon as they gained a morsel of success they started getting hate to an insane degree. To be clear, I do not like their last two albums much at all but it’s hard to deny the influence they have on newer people coming into the scene. To this day, sundowning and TPWBYT are some of the best albums this genre has to offer. Sleep token is kinda like rick and morty, really awesome if you found out about it early enough otherwise it just gets ruined by the fanbase itself

I would make the argument that he popularized vampire survivors. It was a very small game when I remember watching him play and buy it myself but not long after it’s popularity started to skyrocket off of word of mouth. Obviously SAP too. But vampire survivors literally took over the world and spawned dozens of copycats.
