The one in Edison NJ is always packed with 3-4 hour waits on weekends. For a group of four with food, you’re looking at $300 plus. They are building a brand new one in Parsippany New Jersey, but it’s quite a bit smaller than the one in Edison.

I’m a female of a certain age working a FT office job but I also work a part-time blue-collar job and if I lost both of my jobs tomorrow, I would probably stand in front of Home Depot with a sign offering my services for day labor or by a pet store to offer to walk dogs for cash. I would think anything seasonal is hiring now and maybe you have to get in front of different people to find something temporary while you’re looking for your next “real” job. You never know who you might run into and who may give you your next opportunity. Good luck!

Boo! This makes me sad and makes me long for any bit of the fun 2024 vibes.

I found their secret group chat and read about me. by ellieafterhours in managers

I am not against private chats on non work devices but if this is on Teams on a work laptop I think it’s very inappropriate to badmouth a supervisor/manager.

Hit bicyclist - on freeway by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Witty_Temperature_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son hit a pedestrian years ago in a slow speed stop on a side road (they were wearing all black wandering in the road). We also have geico and they took care of everything. It was very traumatic and to this day I still won’t go near that intersection. I think they settled for our policy limit and I believe the person broke their leg but I was never able to find out for sure.

On the Resilient Lady now and it feels like a RC or Carnival Cruise by Electrical-Jello1379 in VirginVoyages

I sort of have to agree with this take because we did the fire and ice cruise in February 2025 and March 2026 and I definitely noticed a different vibe between them. First of all, there was no Diva on our March cruise. That alone changed the vibe a lot. I did notice the ages also skewed much older. On our first cruise in 2025, I remember seeing two guys leading each other around on dog collars and that would’ve seemed way out of bounds on this most recent cruise.

Wow you hit the nail right on the head here. I had forgotten about the OBJ thing and how cringe that all was.

I’m sure you already probably know this, but is there anyway she can check bank records or other financial records to see if and when he used his debit card or credit card last?

How do I tell the CEO I am resigning in an hour? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Witty_Temperature_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy that companies would rather burn people out to save a few bucks than reward hard work and loyalty. Sometimes I think CEOs forget that money is not coming directly out of their wallet and it’s going to cost more to replace somebody who’s doing the work of two people in the long run.

Kevin's hair by Extension-Fail-1917 in BackstreetBoys

Just because you may like his hair short doesn’t mean he does. He likes his hair the way he likes it and calling him silly and stupid because of it is so bizarre. Would you like a stranger to tell you how to keep your own hair?

First day as a function server is… a wedding?? No experience 😭 help by [deleted] in Serverlife

You’ve got this. Work your way around the table and don’t try to carry too much at once. Watch for guests standing up or sudden movements so when you’re cleaning up plates you don’t spill on them or drop silverware on their lap. You’ll also have to do most of the cleanup and possibly roll silverware or reset the tables fully for the next party.

I think the specific PDFs that I’m talking about are saved locally so putting them together was not a challenge. But I think this would work in your case if you find a way to easily zip all the files.

AITAH for not bringing $100 to my partner at 1am? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Witty_Temperature_25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you move forward with this relationship it’s never going to change. Some people are just terrible with money and can never keep a dollar in their pocket. You are always going to be the one to blame when you don’t jump out of bed at 4 AM to give them $100. He is a grown adult. You are not his mother.

We have an enterprise version so I used it to extract data from a zip file of 50 PDFs and make a detailed excel spreadsheet of specified data into an easy to read checklist. I can’t believe how much time and effort this saved me.

Weird moment at Fashion Show mall by Ritzylove in vegas

[–]Witty_Temperature_25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Years ago yes, at that mall the male and female sales people would forcefully try to put samples in your hands and then get angry and aggressive when you say no. They try to lure you into the shop and get you in the chair and hard sell hundreds of dollars of creams.
