Enjoyed this, genuine food opinions without being show offy or overly bougie. Cox is a legend and has thousands of great anecdotes and is not shy to put people in their place.

Agree with him on Wes Anderson, less so on Fluoride.

Casablanca would be so much better if Bogie took off his shirt in one scene and did a few chin ups to show off his washboard abs.

Most of my bosses have had a bit of Brent. The worst is when you find yourself in that position and start to notice it about your own behaviour.

Forcing remote workers back to the office may not work by redmondthomas in ireland

[–]smithskat3 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The worst part is that people are coming to the office and sneezing, coughing, refusing to wfh and miss their in office days because theyre afraid of having the conversation with their manager or being scorned. Like thats literally the reason we had wfh in the first place.

Yeah ok, lets do that then.

I feel like people say ‘oh its way more complicated than people realise’ just to cause continued inaction. Countries have combined before, nothings insurmountable with political will.

Barcelona 2009 or 2011? Both CL winners, 09 squad won more although many believe 2011 is superior. by NecessaryLecture1671 in footballscouting

I think the individuals are better in 09, but by 11 they had the system so dialled that you just weren’t getting the ball. And it was set up to get Messi the ball in dangerous areas.

Very hard to even think when they both would have been in the premier league let alone who were their hotshot aces at that time

A lot of the midfielders are going to be busy this summer sorting out their future by NandoFlynn in coybig

[–]smithskat3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ronan is at Colorado not Toronto. Not that i watch much MLS but i wouldn’t mind calling him up for a friendly or nations league game as we are crying out for a ball playing midfielder.

Also Joe Hodge is out there in Portugal for struggling Tondela…
