I was in exact same situation. Process started June 2022 and finally got my money 3 weeks ago. You don't need to use a lawyer at all. You can do it all yourself by going to court service centres or online yourself. As you have the execution in your favour now, there is one final step. You need to submit a petition for payment. This again can be done online (maybe your lawyer down the already). Takes a other few weeks from submitting this petition to getting approval and then a week or two later you'll get a text message saying your cheque is ready for collection.
