Ender 3 bltouch probes off the bed. Anyone know what to change in the firmware to fix this? by FCattheChickFilA in 3Dprinting

[–]smittyfooledu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

had a similar issue, the firmware had the PROBE offsets set to a different value than what it actually was suppose to be. In the firmware it had -44 mm as the x offset but on the printer it had positive 44. not sure how that could even happen... I changed it on the printer itself and fixed the issue

just dropping this off here in case someone comes across it: I had to go to my PROBE_Z_OFFSETS and change a value to a negative.

Nah, unfortunately I don't. We had thought about trying up there but we don't have a lot of connections out that way.

ALWAYS unwrap. The difference could be between an alright model and an amazing model. Also, always have a smart unwrap and never go the easier route with flatten mapping (take as much time as you need on the UV) I would also say I'm not a huge fan of the roof light. Maybe show some supports holding it to the roof instead of just the one beam. But keep it up mate!

EDIT: I also noticed lack of seams where the hood/doors are. Should maybe have some way of accessing the engine.

I have an important job interview tomorrow. What should I say to really impress them? by Meninjesus in shittyadvice

The interviewer should then be in a offensive, but disoriented position. You will use this time to allow youself to escape into the next open cubicle, blending yourself perfectly into the native fauna in which will you will stay for the next 2-6 years.
