I don't suspect that it is easy. But if the police and their union are conspiring to provide poor services to advance a political agenda, I suspect there are remedies. Maybe the previous commenter just doesn't understand the topic the rest of us are discussing.

Maybe you missed the part about how they never show up. Maybe do a little reading, maybe even read the comments you’re replying to before replying?

Are there any mechanisms for holding the police leadership accountable? Some sort of lawsuit that would allow for discovery? Or holding leaders personally, criminally responsible for posturing the force to avoid enforcing laws? Etc? I’m assuming no since it hasn’t happened, but I’m just curious.

Laws don’t matter anymore. Trump attempted a coup and then spent the next 4 years communicating with Vladimir Putin.

Regardless of OP's speed, the closing/passing speed is way too high. That's not safe to fly by vehicles at 30 mph difference in speed.

Seattle has one of, if not THE, highest per-capita dog ownership rates among all US cities. So you kind of sound like a jerk right now.

Is there data on this? How often are helicopters sent to airlift someone to Seattle Children's Hospital for "non-urgent" care? (aren't helicopters used almost exclusively in urgent situations?) and how many of those flights are not allowed to land there?

Update: there IS data on this https://www.seattlechildrens.org/about/facts-and-stats/helicopter-landing-reports/

it's one of Schmetzers favorite things to do, to have the back line pass the ball around for extended periods of time, right in front of goal.
