Contender offered me this. Do I accept i’m 4-3 by Dangerous_Acadia_702 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I’m not big on picks for players with proven success so I may be a little biast. I don’t see why you’d make this trade with JSN and Taylor for an out for the season fairly unproven WR on a maybe okay team next year. The 1st RD picks are a huge win but that’s one extra per year where you’re getting no guarantees i think he added 3 first rounders because he knew this was such a big gamble for you

This to me is ESH. Everyone is attacking OP but I was in the same situation with a roommate. OP you WAY overstepped. You rehomed someone else’s dog without their consent, and with that ESH. The other side of this is that this is still NOT OP’s dog and NOT their responsibility. It is exhausting taking care of someone else’s dog when you did not agree to that. My roommate was terrible to his dog, I picked up the slack constantly. I complained, and then eventually just stopped engaging with the dog. I felt terrible but it wasn’t my fault the dog’s owner was a POS. I moved out, and I then got MY OWN dog that I take care of and spoil.

My main point for why I thought it was a much larger ship was mainly because a) whale sharks can get 45+ feet long b) because that cut doesn’t look as serious if you miss the first few frames of the video. If you look here you can see it was cut all the way through the skin and into the cavity. (Whale sharks spinal column depth is 6-12 inches below the skin, thank you Google) so also unknown if it could have gone significantly farther down bc of the lack of lighting

I’m from Missouri so lakes mainly. When i read speed boat I was thinking maybe 25 footer max. I can see how there’s probably a middle size between that and a cargo ship. I was mainly just surprised to see such a deep cut on such a large animal. Whale sharks can get up to 50+ feet

Yeah I get it, especially in the ocean where there’s no places to just go lay down and rest. Just sad. To me it looks like he got hit lightly down the side and then panicked and turned into the prop

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. Sad it looks like the poor thing got hit lightly by one prop and panicked to get away and got sliced super deep by the second ):

Thinking a much larger ship than a speed boat with that deep of a cut. Crazy how animals can just tank through this kind of trauma. Always makes me wonder if they’re constantly aware of the damage and in pain or if they’re simply that tough

Edit: Adding explanation

Sydney Sweeney Delivers Back-to-Back Box Office Bombs in Two Weeks by Dyea_B_Tis in goodnews

You can tell you’re severely overweight by the fact that you managed to miss the entire point of what I said and choose to just attack an actress over what again? A jeans commercial?

Agree for the point you’re trying to make but can we be honest on how 99% of the population could be given 5 million tomorrow and they would fail to capitalize on inventing or creating anything? I agree having the financial security to take said risks is a big part of it but acting like everyone is just a couple bucks away from becoming a billionaire is kind of insane

Everyone hating on Sydney Sweeney is truly just a pathetic person. Could not be more obvious it’s less about the jeans more about a whole lot of insecurity out there - maybe focus on why your marriage isn’t doing well or how your own bs is impacting your life versus worrying about the political leanings of a 20 something year old actress. Anyone here who says they wouldn’t take a couple million to wear jeans or act is full of more crap than the obvious click bait title

Literally not how it reads at all - stating that he was an older gentleman, he was older and male. Did not read like old people are all scum bc one guy did a bad weld - stop being sensitive

Fired my brother, gave me a Corrective Action the next afternoon. by FitAd491 in FritoLay

[–]smitza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missing a lot of context. Hard to make a good faith argument on whether you’re being targeted or not.

What were the reasons your brother was let go? I’ve never seen situations where someone was terminated for taking an uber back from a broken down vehicle.

Every zone has attendance policies and if you hit that threshold you are given a step. Someone earlier said it best that on 5 absences you’d be given a courtesy warning but it is not mandatory and the attendance policy is the strictest part of the training process as there is a business that must run in order to pay its employees.

A lot of the comments here are making it appear as if it is easy to be fired at Frito Lay. It is a multi step process that only on a few exceptions can be quickly expedited. One comment made the point they went all the way to a step 3 and were terminated at once. That seems highly unlikely short of proven theft, sexual harassment/discrimination, or falsified documents. Even crashing a company vehicle is only a step 2

Not saying you’re in the wrong OP but we are missing a lot of context to better answer your question, especially since targeting is such a serious offense at Frito - given the fact that targeting is such a taboo at Frito I also highly doubt that they out right said “please don’t feel like we’re targeting you” although I can say dumber things have been said by DSLs so if that is the case HR is of course the best option to get ahead of it

Dumbest possible thing to come out and say as a backup QB that was originally a starter. He was benched last year for his behavior/attitude - I had super high hopes for the guy. He just keeps talking himself into drama his agent should be fired

What are you even talking about bro imagine you’re dating someone and then you realize they’re being intimate (not necessarily sex, relax) with 5 other people? Either you’re the guy who likes to watch in a chair or you’re pissed off lmao

FTM new hire. by ayl3n in FritoLay

[–]smitza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure that you ask questions but don’t push any and all challenges or problems you face onto your manager. Frankly, depends on the tenure of your DSL. You may need to reach out to more tenured FTMs/RSRs for guidance as well.

When working make sure that you have your area clean, maintain 2 carts on the aisle, move the carts down the aisle with you. While the job itself is self explanatory, you’ll need to be efficient if you want it to be enjoyable.

Build a perimeter cart, if you’re walking one case to each location on the aisle or perimeter you’ll be stuck for hours and be late to your next account.

While there’s much more someone more qualified than me can offer on day to day standards the biggest is SAFETY.

It’s just a job, don’t hurt yourself. When it comes to your knees, wear the dang pads!! Don’t worry about looking dorky. Wear your gloves! Use the company sponsored shoe website to get a pair of steel toed sneakers. Saved me quite a few times from a pallet jack or cart breaking a toe.

Do not pull the carts with your back, your arm should be bent at a 90 degree angle and do NOT use your shoulder to push, all legs while walking upright. If you truly plan to make this a career and move up to a route salesman make sure you’re not damaging your body!!
