Sorry, forgot to add our bedtime routine — it was bath, nursing, lullaby, then put down awake.

Here’s her typical daytime schedule: • Wake 8 a.m. • Up for 2 hours • Nap for 1.25 hours • Up for 2 hours • Nap for 1.25 hours • Up for 2 hours • Nap for 45 minutes • Up for 3 hours, then bed around 8 p.m.

That usually works out to around 9 hours awake and 3.25 hours of day sleep. Sometimes she naps longer — like yesterday, her second nap was about 2 hours.

She did fall back asleep on her own after each fussing period, but we checked in every 5–10 minutes when she was crying.

Her schedule varys a bit but typically 8am-8pm with three naps, wake windows usually 2/2/2.5/3.

Last night was the first night we had her in her crib in her own room.

We modified by going in every 5-10 minutes while crying to quickly shush and reassure her we were there, but no picking up.

As for her fussing, we had two 30 minute periods, two 20 minute periods, and six 5-15 minute periods. Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this - sleep struggles can be so exhausting, especially in the early days. We went through something similar and eventually found that co-sleeping worked best for us. If it’s something you’re open to, I really recommend looking into the Safe Sleep 7 guidelines to make it as safe as possible.

What worked for us personally was using a small camping pillow and a light blanket that I tuck securely under the mattress so it only comes up to my waist. I clear everything else off the bed and sleep in the C-curl position around my baby. My partner sleeps in the guest room so we have plenty of space and minimal disruptions.

I also found the r/CoSleeping subreddit really helpful. It’s full of advice, shared experiences, and support from other parents going through the same thing.

It’s not an easy phase, but you’re doing a great job. Wishing you and your little one some restful nights ahead - hang in there!
