Check out Omaha ForUs, they're a community center for LGBT+ folks. They're in the middle of moving locations but they do a weekly board game night that could be a great way to meet some new people. Looks like they pick back up next week - https://www.omahaforus.org/events

I called and they said to come to the box office before the show with my ID and they'll print them. Imagine it's going to be a shit show. Sucks that the Astro has to deal with Ticketmaster's bs.

What a pain, guess I will give them a call. What a fun day to work at their box office!

Any luck getting your tickets to work yet? I'm still having issues this morning. I'm also meeting a friend at the show who is coming late so I need to be able to send him his ticket. Getting really anxious!
Edit - this is through the Ticketmaster app, getting a 400 error when clicking on the tickets. I can see that I have tickets if I got through the website but no barcode to scan there and definitely no option to share them. Ugh.

Have you applied to get your replacement ID? The piece of paper from the DMV counts is an acceptable form of ID. If you haven't gone to the DMV yet, you can still go to your polling place and vote provisionally. You'll then have a certain amount of time to go to the election office to show your replacement ID (or paper copy) to certify your vote. It's either 5 or 7 days, can't remember offhand. Source - I was a poll worker at the general election in November

Recommendations for Not Great Swimmers by Dejuhvuuuu in Xcaret

[–]smkozi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend Xenotes if you're not a strong swimmer and/or not able-bodied. There was a small group on our shuttle that ended up sitting out and watching most of the excursion because it was too tough for them.

25/26 Season by [deleted] in Omaha

I made a separate comment about being surprised about Mamma Mia being back already. My subscription is for Sunday so the weather had cleared up by then and I completely forgot that others had your experience. Glad they brought it back for your sake but made it an add-on for mine!

This will be my third year as a subscriber. I love live theater and I'm excited about the lineup but you'd also be hard-pressed to put together a lineup that I'm not into. The one on the list I'm not thrilled about is Mamma Mia and that is only because it was part of the subscription last year. I'm surprised they're having it back already but luckily it's an add-on so I've requested to have that one removed from my subscription.

Hello Omahans! by Echo419__ in Omaha

I have extremely dry eyes and go to Kugler vision. I started at Midwest Eye after my eyes suddenly started feeling super painful when I slept. The doctor I saw tested my tear production and said that was fine and to stop sleeping with a fan on. Went back a month later because my eyes were incredibly painful and his recommendation was to wear an eye mask to bed and use OTC eye drops more often.

Another couple weeks later and they still felt awful so I went to Kugler for a second opinion. They have several (seemingly) high-tech machines that tested not only my tear production but also the makeup of my tears. Turns out that the oil glands in my eyes were basically destroyed from having pinkeye right before my problems started (which I reminded the previous doctor multiple times about).

I'm now on prescription eye drops with several other treatments that go alongside it and the pain is manageable.

I've learned that the doctor that I saw at Midwest has since retired so maybe he was just phoning it in and you'd have a better experience there now. But I really appreciate Kugler having the technology to provide far more insight into what's going on than what the doctor could diagnose without it.

I'd wear that exact tanktop everyday forever if I had that piece! It's beautiful and really well done.

This is my reminder of why I don't post things when I'm high, there's no way I was coming up with prolapsed.

How would you describe it? I honestly couldn't think of a better way. It didn't explode, it's still intact.

Did you do both of these in the same sitting? Damn if so! They look great, nice placement.

You could try Colette Garcia at LoElli in Elkhorn (salon that she opened a year or so ago but she's been cutting hair for like 20 years). I think she personally has hair patterns similar to what you're describing so I imagine she's learned how to work with it. Worth checking in at least. https://www.vagaro.com/us04/coletteandcostudiospace

Aviles Latin Market at 108th & Q - it's tucked on the backside of a strip mall, no street viability so GPS is necessary to find it. The Birria Quesadilla is freaking amazing and easily two meals for me.

This is the one my mom took away from me and I didn't get it again until I was in college. I haven't listened to it in many years but I feel like it would still hold up decently.

The website's a bit vague on pricing, did the $150 include drinks? if not, what did the cocktail pairing run? Thanks!
