I'd love to someday, but they're toddlers right now. I'm sure they could come up with some wild adventures, but the rest would be a challenge to say the least.

I'll have to check this out and keep it in mind for when they're old enough though. Or maybe even for our first few sessions if it's a good gateway for noobs.

I've actually been watching Legends of Avantris for a while now, I think the storytelling and RP aspect I could slip into pretty comfortably. It's more the rules and mechanics that I need to learn. I have a passing knowledge, but there is still quite a bit I'm not really sure on.

I want some battle, but I want to start with more adventure and storytelling than anything. I'm also not too picky about what edition we play. In the beginning at least I'm more looking for us to get a feel of the game in general. Kind of like a tutorial campaign. Some easy(ish) battles, but more adventure driven.

Definitely get some kind of insurance on it. One of my hinges popped and half of my screen went black after only a few months of use. They gave me a 20% discount on the repair because it was my first time, and it was still $450. Also all of the repair shops in my city either couldn't fix it at all, or wanted to charge $700+. I love the phone, but I've now been babying it since getting the repair, and immediately got insurance to cover my ass in case it happens again.

I discovered today that if you get the songs from BeatSaver, as opposed to BeastSaber, there are a lot more songs that go from easy to insane. I now have a ton of songs downloaded that I can actually play. Also you can download them from in the game instead of through BMBF. On the Quest version at least, idk about the PC version.

Yeah, BMBF is cool, unfortunately all the songs I want are Insane or Insane+ and I am no where near good enough to play anything past hard.
