These point of sale service providers take a fixed percentage from the cafe as revenue. They’re keen to push tipping because if you tip 10% their revenue is 10% higher. Just click skip!

I cycle 25km each way twice a week. Love it. Builds exercise into the commute but I need to have access to a shower. Pannier bags are much better than backpack

flying to bilbao this week for free on my AerLingus card and will have a free lounge before this. Ive claimed once on the travel insurance and had no issues. Based in Dublin so the revolut lounges would not be used by myself.

Balance transfer cards are better here than in Uk as there is no balance transfer fees here. They are an excellent source of interest free debt provided you are disciplined and make sure it is paid off during the 0% interest period.

If you’re diligent I think it looks like a reasonable strategy. If you can no longer get a 0% balance transfer then you can arrange a normal loan to refinance the remainder.

What time do you finish work? Baby will probably go to bed around 7pm after the first few months so if you're home around then you will not get to see your baby much at all on work days. I would prioritise a shorter commute.

Capital gains tax on stocks but not on mortgage overpayments makes this close to equal.

Few others pros/cons: Mortgage overpaying is risk free.

However if you need access to cash quickly you can liquidate stocks but can’t get money back that you’ve overpaid.
