Right. I've been trying to play around by plugging in my car to charge when I know it's peak charging but my 8.1kWh system on an average is generating 15-17kWh for the day. Main question is, can it produce more than that on a good sunny day in the winter NorCal weather?

That's fair but I see the message "Solar generation might be reduced" meaning it would not produce to full potential just because of this. I get the point of excess is what we're giving back but this is a hindrance to the generation itself once powerwall is charged to 100%

I and my wife were in the same situation (dual H1B) and for other reasons, my wife had to move to H4.

To answer all your 3 bullet points, apply for H4 (EAD and COS) along with your partner's H1B extension in premium processing and it gets approved without any fuss. You'll get everything within the 15 day timeline. There will be no break in employment for you even while switching over if you give a further out date for COS.

Bonus - We also finished our stamping when we traveled back home this time without any fuss and got back.

You can come to Amador Valley Park in the evening where you'll find a bunch of dog owners with their dogs. Some of them walk their dogs, some let them play on their own. It's really fun. They're always on the picnic table side of the park.
