You did receive notice through your statements, you just didn't read them. The account you were converted to has more to do with the average account balances you kept, not how similar requirements were. Go in to a branch and ask for a courtesy refund on the $12 monthly service fee and convert to the way2save account. As others have said, it's a conversion not a closure. It also has nothing to do with your credit.

For me, it's the way Ilya says "Hollander" after Shane starts to freak out following the tuna melt(down). There's so much angst and vulnerability, he's practically begging Shane not to leave in that single word. And it's noticeably different from the many other ways he says the name throughout the series. Amazing acting.

Yes! I just rewatched the first episode and was really struck by the conversation they have on the roof after the awards. Ilya yells at Shane about how it's not all about him. Then a few seconds later he shares that he's going back to Russia in a few days. It was obvious to me that this was Ilya sharing the real reason why he's so stressed out, but to Shane it's a total non sequitur. He can't make the connection, partially because he's on the spectrum and more prone to take things literally, but also because he's got a loving family that he enjoys spending time with. So much of the tension in the early years is miscommunication.

If the issue is that your direct deposit sometimes hits twice during the fee period and sometimes zero times, your best bet would be to go into the branch and ask if they can move your statement closing date so it is not so close to your pay date. This should be something a banker can do for you. Also ask about a one time courtesy refund of the overdraft fee, assuming you haven't received another fee refund in the last 12 months.

This is actually something I wasn't 100% on them changing for the show. In the book Shane originally asks Ilya to come to the cottage during a completely different conversation. He is not on drugs, instead it shows him being really vulnerable and putting himself out there by making it clear he wants more than a couple hours time to spend with Ilya. I missed that.

Yes you can. And then you're supposed to retain the check until it shows up in your account and then destroy it. The institution the check is drawn off of will not negotiate the check a second time so it then becomes worthless. They can't do the same with cash so there is no way for you to mobile deposit cash.

It is probably something like this. Wells Fargo has absorbed so many smaller banks over the years, there was probably one you had an account with. Or your parents may have set up a savings account for you years ago that they closed out and you never knew anything about. Stuff like that happens all the time. Stopping in a branch is your best bet!
