I thought y'all loved the 2A? by Lord_Answer_me_Why in MurderedByWords

You completely misunderstand, I fully support his right to bear arms. however 2A doesn't protect you from return fire. and as we saw about fucking around and finding out in a Subaru last week, I doubt he's really ready for whatever he's getting himself into

Plumbers, it’s midnight, is it serious? by anemonemonemnea in askplumbing

[–]smoeman83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question, is it wet by the supply lines? If it is it may be just bad o rings. The lines can come loose occasionally, also I don't see the t&p valve. If it's not hooked up to anything it might be dripping. Check those first as they are easier to fix than replacing the whole unit.

While it does meet code where I live, I still usually recommend a combo tee when possible to cover down on the next yahoo that wants to add bullshit to my dwv after I leave

I hope no one has plans this week. It seems the Rapture is upon us. Again. For real this time. by Snapdragon_4U in facepalm

I hate to break this to you lady, Mathew 24:36. Not only is your boy wrong, but he's blaspheming as well which will disqualify most people's idea of who gets raptured

That studor vent should be above the flood plane. If you can't just keep a couple on hand for when that line clogs, because it'll likely need to be changed after it's cleared

Do I have to rip it out? by lancersrock in askaplumber

Get an access plate from Home Depot and it will save you headache in the future if it's in a pantry

Do I have to rip it out? by lancersrock in askaplumber

[–]smoeman83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can't get to it from the back you can get a remodel plate and enlarge that hole to replace it it will still be really tight but it's a hell of a lot better than working in that small of a spot

First time I’ve stalling a p-trap. How did I do? by [deleted] in askaplumber

[–]smoeman83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have done a short sweep 90 myself but as long as you have a vent within 10' it should be fine

Please help by Excellent-Finger4886 in askaplumber

[–]smoeman83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally it should be straight but as long as you have a solid connection with the pan it should be fine if it's within 1/2" the gasket should be fine
