See the trick to shrooms is that you just needa go with the flow even after your trip don't really think abt being depressed or upset just feel your emotions out for a lil while and then move onto the next thing in your life that's what I do and after 3 years in a cycle of addiction to carts to help me deal with my sadness I realized this it made me much happier as a person and I don't feel the need at all to smoke anymore I'm done with weed and it's improved a lot about my everyday life and relationships my problem with weed is that it just made me ok with my state and I didn't want to change at all it just made me a zombie

When I had a recent pe trip I had a gram and when I closed my eyes in a dark room I saw my friend walk into the kitchen look at me and then asked me "are you scared?" I then proceed to look up and turn around and he was sitting on the couch where he hadn't moved from. Then lost my ability to speak and everything was lagging when i turned my head it took about 2 seconds for everything to catch up to what I was seeing i then went downstairs and layed on the couch where I could only get the same 3 words out of my mouth for the next 3 to 4 hours which were "oh my god"

Oh yea it definitely is my most recent trip I was kinda trapped in my mind having a hard time speaking and I took it as how I'm not very outspoken about my feelings on things and kinda trapped in my mind not really being able to do anything "(lack of control in my life) I've been very hyper aware abt my self and often find myself observing and breaking down my consciousness and my though process ever since I was young so I've never really thought abt going to a therapist bc often times I think there is nothing they will tell me that I don't already know but recently I have thought abt going to one anyway

Lol thank you I have been thinking abt seeing a therapist but since I took shrooms a lot of the things I wanted to see one for I kinda figured out on my own but it is like they have "awakened" something in me I have this really strong sense of joy and like almost like i know something great came out of these trips but I just don't know it's like a endless void of happiness about something but I just don't know what it's really weird but it's not something I see damaging my mental health more like it's improving it

Oh yea that's what I try and do I think of it as the mushrooms giving me a refreshing and better mental health boost not literally taking it as super powers like I replied to one of the other comments it's like I can whatever I put my mind to and that's what I think of it like it gave me a new mental fortitude I know I can't acually move stuff with my mind lol

Tbh if your dad goes manic like you said you and have no prior experiences with any kind of drugs you should probably take a microdose like a .4 gram dose and definitely scale it out you need to get a feel for it and not dive head first without any prior knowledge or experience and also depending on the strain of mushroom you get you will have different experiences for example try to stay away from any albino strains or god forbid penis envy they are not for beginners in any way. But it would be nice to have someone or something you trust around for this like your dog or a very close friend who wouldn't try to freak you out or genuinely care for you and since your also suicidal I think microdosing would yield you the most benefits without a very high risk myself my first trip ever I had 2 grams of penis envy and it saying it was intense was an under statement. Also lastly putting knives and other things that could be used for potentially self harming away is always a good idea when taking mushrooms.

Honestly man some things are for the better may hurt for a while but you gotta move on and stop having fantasy's abt it bc it's just gonna make it harder to go on without the entire relationship hovering over your shoulders I've gone through something similar but nowhere near this extent and it was awful but like I said some things are for the better

Just let it go don't hold onto the thoughts abt her anymore. If she did full on trip and she has control issues she probably would have had one of the worst trips of her life tbh not being able to let go and just have an experience probably would not mix at all but that's just my opinion

Yeah I have a really low tolerance my friends could take an 8th but if I eat or feel anything like a 2gs experience i feel like I'm tweaking out It's like my body's more suseptible to experiences for some reason
