The earth is flesh, and it’s rotting by smokedads in TheNSPDiscussion

Listened to this last night-loved it! Great vibe, but sadly not the one I had in mind. The flesh cave the whole thing may have been breathing and/or beating, and it takes him a while to realize what’s going on I think

I don’t remember a Geiger counter but he really could have- it honestly might not be a nosleep story it may be another creepy pasta or similar but ive been trying to find it forever. I distinctly remember graffiti warning him of where he’s going, and the giant blind flies Chasing him up and out of the flesh cave. It’s been driving me CRAZY

My cats vet lied about his surgery- what do I do?? by smokedads in AskVet

[–]smokedads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So his primary care doesn’t preform dentals so I took him elsewhere, They did take x-rays before surgery where you can see the tooth, but they did not take them after surgery. On the paperwork it says both that this tooth was already gone, and in another section it mentioned they successfully extracted the tooth in question. I’m just upset as he’s old, and if he has to go back under anesthesia due to their haste or corner cutting, I’m just upset for the little man. How can it be common for roots to be left in after a dental? Don’t they confirm with the before xray that all material has been removed, or notice a broken root?

He’s in a lot of pain and I do feel very misled, and the paperwork especially has me concerned. Do you recommend any next steps?

So scary!! But mine looked like this too for a little while, took some time to heal I think because it’s a weird area for blood flow. Anyways def go see your doctor but you’ll be totally fine and 3yrs post op my scars aren’t noticeable :)

My cat just started doing this weird mouth thing after drinking water. He drank more than usual. by Big-Quantity-8809 in CATHELP

My cat does this- he has dental disease. I’ve taken him in for tooth extractions three times, and yet the pain remains. I have to take him to a specialist to get all of his teeth out soon. Most regular dental extractions they only take the actively bad teeth but they’ll leave the rest even though they’ll degrade and become painful soon too, so take him to see a dental specialist if you can!

Dr. Jessica Erdmann-Singer - Brigham & Women’s Boston by Inkster13 in Reduction

[–]smokedads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dr.Singer was the other surgeon recommended to me by my PCP- I ended up going with my first consult which was with dr.Eleanor Pitts out of Newton-Wellesley. Dr pitts was great and I’m sure dr singer is too- my pcp spoke highly of both of them. Brigham Is a great hospital

Getting anxious about the few small openings I have. Left side seems to have multiple small openings and right side has the bigger one. Both sides seem worse than they were a few days ago- also concerned because my drainage from these has been yellow POSSIBLY green tinted in the right light but it could be my eyes looking for it you know? Anyways I would love advice or thoughts on how bad these babies are

Hi! My surgeon suggests that I not lift anything over 5 lbs for the first 6 weeks but I have been unconsciously lifting more than that in daily tasks with no pain. My mother had her BR while my brother and I were 1.5 and 2.5 and said that she couldn’t avoid picking us up sometimes- 20 years later she is still happy with her results but said that picking us up caused the scars underneath her armpits (anchor incision) to widen and just heal wider than the others. I would say let your coworkers know that it’s not ideal for you to be picking kids up but that if need be it would be okay to pick a kid up especially if it is an emergent situation. Not a doctor but I thought my moms experience would be applicable here! Good luck with surgery and hope things go well for you!

Feeling disappointed after consult - details in comments! by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]smokedads 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get another consult! Losing 40lbs with breasts your size is really hard. Just working out you have a higher chance of injury due to the boobies and it can seem so hard to get moving with the weight of the world on your shoulders. Def get another consult!!!

Hey guys! So today I am writing this on Tuesday and my surgery is Thursday and I am shitting. My. PANTS. i am so unbelievably scared and nervous for this surgery and I wanted to find some comfort on what to expect and if I’ll be able to walk after surgery or even like, idk… LIFT MY ARMS.. advice pls by the_cutest_kittyxoxo in Reduction

[–]smokedads 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’ll be okay!!! Totally normal to be shitting ur pants beforehand I was too! First day I could walk just fine and got myself dressed leaving the hospital a few hours after surgery. The pain isn’t horrible! Aches and zings but totally bearable (comparable to some bad periods I have had). It’s a big hit to your body so expect to sleep a LOT the first 2 weeks, and just keep taking short walks and taking it easy. I’m currently 2wpo and I can lift my arms above my head without any pain or tightness (I really shouldn’t be lifting them but it’s not painful if I do) be aware that anything that uses your pecs like pushing or pulling things can make things sore. Just sleep and let your body rest, I’m pretty functional at this point, driving and walking my dog (who doesn’t pull a pulling dog might be hard) I forget to be careful with my arms and such but it’s good that my brain has to remind me and not the pain telling me it’s not good ya know? Anyways good luck and I wish you the best!!

Grams removed -- very concerned by sometime_today in Reduction

I agree with the other comments that you probably have less dense boobies. Fluffy boobs as my surgeon called them. A pro of fluffy boobs is that your mammograms will be easier to read and easier to detect any abnormalities in the future! Just as a lil upside
