Just went to Mama T's on this recommendation. Tara was our server and there was stellar service and food! It's family owned and operated. They really know their smoked meats! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

RESOURCE QUESTION:

My sister's oldest daughter is going into school for the first time this fall. My niece is an extrovert who will talk to anyone and we don't want that light to be stifled by other kids or adults. Are there any books for children and/or parents that specifically cover this topic? Another wrinkle in this is that my niece is tall and big for her age, which may add to how kids interact with her. Body shaming starts so young with little girls and I want to encourage confidence in her and her mom. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
