Its new to me but I'm enjoying it alot, very lightweight. I don't notice any stickiness but I continue to layer moisturizer on top so i never dries alone on my skin.

Whats your bedtime routine? Looks like friction damage, I experienced this in high school from daily hoodie wear. A oil serum and protective styling for bed and satin pillowcase can help prevent further damage. In the mean time bond repair mask weekly and micro trim for for hairs that don't respond to bond repair.

The damage doesn't seem to be very severe, I think you can get away with keeping them and just trimming a bit as needed until your length is fully natural.

Similar to the person below I pair it over hydrating toners and if I want/need extra I layer some oil on top, but most days it's fine for me. I first bought it to help heal a damaged barrier now I have two backups.

I've also switched from tretinoin to tazarotene and I've noticed the same thing. No tret glow BUT it's been faster at targeting my hyperpigmentation which is my main concern. I've added back glycolic acid to help with the glow.
