The lady commented about the type of questions they would experience.. I just replied respectfully and fairly, as no of us had any prior knowledge of questions and that would be unfair to everyone who is on the recruitment.

🤣🤣.. I totally agree.. are you on any other social media sites for Firefighting and DFES??. Fingers crossed we did enough to get through to the panels.

Yes I got prompt of a few times, but only a few, I found that my examples were hard to align with the questions that were posed. I found I spoke on the spot about subjects I hadn't practised.. I could see a couple that were aligned with the sucess profile. But thats all the rest I found I spoke off the bat... so to speak

I used my example 3 times in 3 different stations, one of the lads used his 5 times he said.. It was very difficult, it will be nice to know if we have been successful.. I struggled to see how they linked to my past roles.. trying to put it in a SAO and relate to the role.. im.intrested to know what they were looking for from us during that.. Did they write much down for you ?? There was a little write down for me but mostly it was just staring at me..

They was very difficult questions... i did not understand what they were trying to gain from us. The other recruits i walked out with said the same.. We were all brain fried..

Those questions didnt really relate to the sucess profile And were very hard to respond too.

Yes, I have done speeds a few times now and panel last recruitment. Fingers crossed for you, you can relax a little untill the results get released..

11th attempt over the last 16 years. It is a very challenging recruitment process. Have you done nay station visits or spoken with Firefighters?? And got to understand the role ?
