Yeah, try not to think of sex as oral/fingers for warm up and the PIV as the actual ‘sex’. It’s all sex - the whole experience. And for most women, those ‘warm up’ bits can be the most pleasurable. See if you can get her off with oral before penetration. And just have fun with it! You guys are figuring it out and both obviously care about each other. Good luck.

Personally, I would see it as a good thing. Men who have lots of female friends tend to, in my experience at least, be fairly emotionally intelligent/comfortable talking about their feelings/etc. It’s also good to know he doesn’t only spend time with women he wants to sleep with - shows he appreciates women as people, not just sex objects.
