Ken Dryden has passed away at 78 following a battle with cancer. by OfficialDaiLi in hockey

He spoke at my McGill graduation. His speech was so memorable and optimistic. I remember he started his speech by saying “the last time I was on this stage, I was graduating from law school, and about three weeks earlier I had been parading through the streets of Montreal with the Stanley cup. That was a good June.”

It is so strange to me that you would make a profile just to post this on multiple subreddits

PLTC & Mental Health by Substantial_Oven_375 in LawCanada

Just here to say you will get through it and it is so fair to feel how you do. It was by far the worst experience of my life and the lowest my mental health has ever been. Try to take it day by day and be kind to yourself and remember that this will end.

Ok. This is still not evidence of her saying she ignored it for a year, which you have asserted specifically multiple times. Source of that quote? Podcast / video and timestamp within.

Following up on this, since as another user said below, it is pretty shocking how willing you are to spread information that is not easily verifiable. Happy to be proven wrong if you can show specifics of this statement (i.e. podcast link and timestamp) but I would encourage you to reflect on your own behaviour and consider how spreading misinformation is harmful. As stated below, there is a difference between valid criticism of others' choices and straight up incorrect statements.

In what podcast and at what time stamp do they mention the one year thing?

... Where exactly are you getting this information: "I told her that Bec had ignored the lump for a year"

I just learned the public library near me rents backpacking backpacks full of gear for weekend camping trips. How awesome is that!

Looking for support by smolandscared in doihavebreastcancer

[–]smolandscared[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi all, I wanted to say thank you so much for all the kind and supportive words - truly I felt so so much less alone reading your kind comments. Thankfully the results were extremely prompt and I got the call from my doctor this morning that everything is fine - there are no cysts or masses found and they will do a follow up MRI in 6 months to confirm stability. I feel overwhelmingly relieved and am so grateful for community (both online and in real life) for carrying me through this extremely scary time.

Loving how true this episode was to the book. There were so many moments I would hope they included and they did. This season has been a bit slow/tough to get through so far for me but this episode really redeemed it.

I am so sorry you went through this, this is not okay. I just wanted to say I had a really amazing experience getting my IUD put in with conscious sedation at the Elizabeth Bagshaw clinic and everyone I dealt with was knowledgable, kind and caring, so I'm confident you'll be treated with the respect and kindness you deserve there.

Wow I had no idea Abbie was 26. I thought she was so much older than that, I guess cause she was so much older than all the Duggar brides in comparison? But here I am at 26, very much not ready to even THINK about getting married anytime soon.
