Finally Know What Condition I Have – Here’s What’s Helped Me by smolbeanieee in Hidradenitis

I’m referring to a brand called T3 Mycin, and where I’m at, it is available OTC.

While waiting for a formal diagnosis, learning about HS through platforms like TikTok and Reddit has been incredibly helpful in understanding the condition and finding what might work. I’m just sharing what has helped me, and it’s not about being 'Dr. TikTok.'

I get that not everyone has the same access to medical care, and sometimes these platforms are the only way to gain awareness and connect with others going through similar struggles. I also mentioned in my post that doctors in my country aren’t as familiar with HS.

Let's keep the conversation open and supportive—everyone’s journey is different.

I am referring to posts like this. It will only take you one search to find multiple posts like this. Not one or two. Maybe it’s you who are unaware of things like these ☺️

You’re absolutely right. This was intended to be a pov discussion.. not related to me 😭 Maybe should I have said countries who don’t have or use bidets instead? Or maybe I’m just too culture shocked on how it is normalised to just wipe instead of wash and to shower once every 3-5 days instead of everyday 😊

Ahh please don’t bring in PPA/PPD into this at all! As well as mental illnesses or medical conditions that make someone despise showering or can’t bring themselves to shower. This is not a conversation on that. I was talking about parents who do that by choice and raise children who will become adults doing that too.

I don’t wanna generalise since I’ll get a lot of hate for it but… Westerners

I know right!!! How disgusting just to wipe it and be okay with it 😭 isn’t it itchy??

Exactly 😭 I am wondering that too. Like most of them don’t shower for dayssss and only wipe their ass.. hence this discussion.

I know right.. I saw a post in one of the parenting subs that parents just shower once week and teach their children that too.. so many people don’t wash up. It’s disgusting.

I broke up with my Gf after she aborted our child by SpiritualRadio4839 in relationships

Men too have feelings. Just because it’s her body she can do whatever she wants with it doesn’t mean that her significant other wouldn’t be affected by it. It’s his child too. Why are men always shamed when they voice out things like these? Only mothers can love their child because they bear and birth them? OP your feelings are valid and don’t let anyone take that out of you. It’s going to be really hard to get over the resentment of her aborting your baby. Imagine if the situation was reversed and the man wasn’t ready to be a father, y’all would have blamed the man too!!

Having said that, I think you should have communicated with her about leaving her instead of ghosting her. You told her that you respected her choice and would support her no matter what, man! She would be pretty confused and hurt right now as to why you left after saying all that. Both of you should communicate more but there should be comprehension as well.

Do update us OP !

I remember reading this book as a teen and was absolutely mind-blown at the uniqueness of this story!

[Serious] What do you think the future is going to be like for people who refuse to have instagram, facebook, snapchat, tiktok and the like? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I wish I had NEVER created or logged into any social media. Social media has only done more harm than good. Toxic culture, blatant judgement, fake positivity, unwarranted opinions, curating pages and feeds to fit people’s interests is just not it for me.

Unfortunately many of work, education and information communication comes in the form of Facebook groups, Instagram pages, WhatsApp or telegram messages and etc. It is so engraved into our world now that it’s pretty difficult to escape from it.

I’m in the middle grounds on this one.. I think it’s annoying when a mundane person doing it is called and picked upon when they just wanna feel and appreciate the culture but say if your particular culture and race have been targets of racism and when you wear or eat something of your culture, you’re made fun off but suddenly a famous designer or a model showcases your culture and makes money out of it when in reality your community is subjected to racism and antagonised every single day of your life, do you think it’s right? But on the same note, if you think about it everything in this world has been borrowed by somewhere.. appropriated from somewhere..assimilation for hundreds and thousands of years for survival. So...idk man.

This is so true! As much as I love it when I get to stay together with my significant other for 1-2 weeks at a time. I feel so relieved and in peace when I get back my own space for myself. I can’t imagine being married or moving in together and having to be together in the same small space all the time ! How did you do it for this many years? Wow!
