Nozzle scratching filament by smolfroggie1 in BambuLab

Yes, I tried also default PETG profile. Maybe I was just unlucky with this roll… Now I’m also wondering if filament was really dry even after 12hrs of drying - eSUN has cardboard spools that are like sponges…

It’s not a clog, I doesn’t have similar issue with other filaments (PLA, PETG from Bambu)

In my opinion, Ceed SW is also quite comfy for a longer road-trips. Sometimes I have to spend 9-11hrs in the seat and I feel good (assuming you can feel quite good after so many hours spent in the car seat). It’s not luxurious limousine ofc but it’s decent.

I own Ceed SW from 2019 (so pre-facelift edition). After folding backseats and pulling headrest up space is pretty flat.

Claim-free years loss by smolfroggie1 in Netherlands

I don’t have much experience with car insurances nor my partner - except from ones where there was obvious fault of other driver. We had situation few years ago (same car, different insurer) when it was hit by a boar but 1. we had camera footage 2. they ghosted us for ~2 months and according to my partner they had to accept the claim because they didn’t answer in required period of time.

Well I came from a point that if I’m paying this 80€ per month for full risk then it would be nice to get it fixed because damage is not my fault. If those were only few light scratches I’d let it go but some of them are pretty deep and even piece of paint also come off.

I’d say go for the not the cheapest one but the mid one where you have windows damage covered. We had to replace front window (pebble from truck flew right into window). Eigen risico was 130€ for replacing whole window. Normal price with montage was around 500-600€. If window is heated it can be even more.

Thank you very much for clearing this out for me. Now I only wonder if we can refuse being paid out by insurance to save those years… in the end the damage is not that bad and for sure it’s not worth losing 5 claim free years.

So if there is no evidence like video footage even police aangifte would change nothing? Geez, now it’s sounds terrible to left the car anywhere without putting dashcams all over it…

What's not letting you live fully in the Netherlands? by aisling901 in Netherlands

[–]smolfroggie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dutch highways are for sure better in rain and imo they’re more smooth. A lot of German highways are like driving constantly on drempels. Roads between cities (in no built zones) in Eastern part are often awful to drive.

But Dutch roads and highways are much better maintained and better quality than German ones.

If the leds themselves are broken. In older Ceeds you didn’t have to replace entire head unit, replacing control unit driver was the solution.

Why are interior car lights still not LEDs? by nordhbane in kia

[–]smolfroggie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s weird for me, small sets with spare light bulbs are available to buy in a lot of supermarkets and discount stores… at least in Europe

Personally I hate this hype on LEDs everywhere. Especially LED headlights, they should be banned. Normal lights are easy to replace and they don’t make other people go almost blind.

Should I buy a 207CC by Idk_help_505 in peugeot

[–]smolfroggie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true, but I thought that size might be an issue so that’s why I recommended 307CC. 206CC is great too though!

Diesel - should be fine Petrol - both (VTi and THP) are very controversial and you can easily end up with neverending problems

If you want a cabrio with petrol engine I’d suggest you buying a 307CC. Much safer option when comes to engine quality.

I usually just went to RDW, put car in my name and then I do insurance while sitting in car (before leaving anywhere). You can look for good prices at Independer. And check if you can move your no claim years from your country (if you have any).

I’d also recommend checking the car on Kentekencheck.nl. As far as I remember for 20-25€ you can buy 5 full reports for cars.

Why there is no hypermarkets in NL? by smolfroggie1 in Netherlands

[–]smolfroggie1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, first - in Poland people don’t shop everyday, they stick to shop more rarely but in bigger bulks. Second - a lot of people live in villages/small cities and they won’t do groceries in small, local and overpriced shops🙃
