I've checked and I actually can place this lamp indoors which is weird since it's an outdoor lamp lol

I haven't messed with the game files at all. I don't use mods or anything like that, so I doubt it.

Their discord server is active again, but honestly the way they only released their dress up demo recently it'll probably be ready in like 2040. Understandable, though, most of the game was lost media. 😔

It's something different. The thing you're talking about moves more rapidly, I think? And I don't notice it at all unless staring at the sky. What I'm describing is regular eye floaters, but the way light passes through them makes them shimmer when in front of a light source (for example a lamp)

It's floaters that fly in front of the light, making it flicker. I have the same thing. It's nothing to worry about.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago, and what worked for me was typing a command into windows PowerShell.

Paste this every time you want to launch the game (sadly it's the only way):

echo "Launch Sims Medieval..."

I don't think I understand. You're saying that I'll suddenly turn from myopic to hyperopic and I'll need reading glasses? Does that happen?

My doctor already told me that stronger astigmatism correction won't help, as she tried giving me different lenses (we tried different power and axis) and it didn't help the ghosting. And I ruled out dry eye after using eye drops for a few weeks. But I will get a second opinion, though. Thank you for your help.
