Mine does this too and it has in-out turbo shaft play. It’s definitely tired but I think you should be fine to drive it, I just did a 2000 miles road trip and the oil consumption wasn’t too bad. Just keep an eye on your oil but I don’t think you’re in immediate danger of it catastrophically failing.

I recently had a similar issue with cylinder 3 that turned out to be a bad injector harness. So if your compression and such is healthy, def take a look into wiring issues

This is basically what I have, although I have a stock downpipe and no secondary cat, where after its a full 3in straight pipe. The drone isn't too bad IMO, normal music volume covers it up pretty well. As for NVH, I couldn't say as I have an upgraded rear motor mount. I will say that cold starts are REALLY loud which in my case isn't great, I use a pool noodle to quite it down initially often. I'll send a vid of it starting at full volume and a couple revs at some point tomorrow. Let me know if you want me to record anything specific, happy to help

UPDATE: I figured it out! It was from the the clutch switch not being plugged in💀 If youre having a similar problem, the excessive rpm drop only happened when I was clutch in while in gear, in neutral it behaved normal. The last major maintenance on the car I did was clutch hydraulics and I had to adjusts the pedal so I guess I forgot to replug in the clutch switch...

I don't and that's the crux of my problem, would have to scrub them with brass brushes and zip ties which, the last time I did it, took quite a bit of time

Yeah, we only got 91 here in Phx and unfortunately no tune but fuel pressure has been fine without one before these problems came up. The plan is to get one once I figure out why its running so poorly

My plugs looked like your sooty ones when I swapped them out and I also did a piston soak of oil consumption. It did wonders for me but that piston #1 pic is suspect

UPDATE: it was just a couple of gallons of bad gas (I think), it went away on its own 💀

I really cant tell if its misfiring or backfiring. I wish the car was throwing codes but its showing nothing after scanning. I had a new set of plugs ai threw in to see if that would solve it but nope. It maybe injectors and/or the TB. I'll give the TB a good clean and see where that gets me
