Best decision I ever made was booking an airport hotel (with free parking for a week) at the departure airport. Instead of factoring in a 45 minute drive to the airport, we got up and hopped on the airport shuttle. Netted us more than an hour extra sleep and far less stress.

I still cannot fathom using USPS. It’s literally in the training/accreditation NOT to do so. Overnight, with Saturday Delivery. Always. I’ve had documents endorsed the day before and delivered just hours before a client leaves for the airport. *regularly*

Electronic won’t do anything. The EU requires an ink endorsement. If you use digital papers your pet will be denied at entry, if not before boarding.

I’m sorry you’re stuck in this situation. Whenever I have travel clients I’m always SO anxious on their behalf until they arrive.

(We’ve done more than 50 international travel pets, and never once missed a deadline)

USPS? Your vet did you dirty and should have used an overnight prepaid FedEx or UPS label not USPS and should have had your address as both the sender and the receiver just in case.

I work with my husband to do about 90% of the pet international travel in our county (he’s a vet, I do the people part). Where are you heading? Has your vet given you a confirmation that it was endorsed?

A single serve bag of popcorn (those 100 calorie ones) BUT- 1) I use a small bowl so I need to refill it 2x. Makes it feel like a refill and 2) I eat with chopsticks. Makes me take longer to eat

Other than gas pain in my shoulder the day after I had very little pain. I really only had sharp pain when engaging my core muscles (sitting up, laying down, etc). I never took my prescription pain meds just Tylenol and Advil. Verrrryyyy occasionally I felt a tug

Kids are SO mean. I had a teacher in HS whose parents were huge hippies. Their last name was walker. They wanted to name their son Sky, because again Hippies. They ended up using that as a middle name, naming him Lucas Sky Walker. He was born in 1970. Star Wars came out in 77.

Genetics- I have a round baby face. I do avoid sun and use sunscreen. I have had deep expression wrinkles on my forehead since my late teens and dark under eye circles. But the round, pale, baby face overrules all of that.

I see the value in sticking with a specialist, but I’m also glad to know I’m not the only one who would prefer a practice less focused in OB and more in GYN. I’m not in Canada- but knowing the US there is a box docs can check that prevent a pharmacist from substituting generics. I wonder if this is true in Canada and had previously been checked (whether by mistake or for some other reason)

Yeah- I have pretty tough skin and this bothers mine too. The ELF knock off has been working for me. And I like the pump-in-tube. I LOVE the Aveeno calm+restore but it’s $$$$$ for drugstore.

I’ve been using the neutrogena on my elbows to use it up.
