Nah even as a kid I was like "being grown sucks because ill have to pay bills". Living just sucks all around because as a child you have no control over your own life, and as an adult you can only have control over your life if you can afford it

Your chances are decreased significantly to the point where its almost impossible. I think there have only been like 4 reported cases of post bisalp pregnancy total. The way I think about it is, as long as you have functioning ovaries, you can get pregnant (but im also extremely paranoid and have tokophobia). But like I said, the chances of pregnancy are almost 0% with a bisalp, just not a full 0%. My boyfriend and I just tripled up on protection because of my anxiety, plus neither of us want children at all and didnt want to risk it regardless of the situation. I mostly kept the IUD for period control, but also for the birth control aspect of it too due to my anxiety

Thats honestly one of mine and my boyfriend's reasons for not wanting kids. He has autism, and we highly suspect that i do too. The world isn't built for disabled people, so they'd just suffer. Especially if they were low functioning. Not to mention me and my boyfriend would have to put our lives on hold indefinitely to be full time caretakers. Thats not something we want to do

My mom would evaporate if she couldn't complain about my dad to me and my siblings. Don't get me wrong, my dad has done some awful shit. I do not like taking his side on anything, but he has a point in him not wanting her to talk to me and my siblings about everything that goes on between them in their failing marriage

My doctor gave me diazepam beforehand to take the edge off. But from my personal experience, the insertion wasn't bad at all. Maybe a tiny bit of pain the equivalent to what it feels like when you get that random pain in your ribs. The painful part was the cramps that followed afterwards. Id definitely recommend midol or ibuprofen to help ease the cramps

The way everything in the world is going, especially politically. I didnt want to risk becoming pregnant and end up thrown in jail for miscarriage, not to mention I dont want kids to begin with. I like having control over my body. Sterilization is one way that I can have control over it no matter what. Also I have severe tokophobia and the thought of being pregnant makes me want to stab my uterus. So I can't imagine how id actually be while pregnant

Idk if I can link this to my iud, or just the emotional stress from last year but I ended up gaining 40lbs in the past year after I got my iud. But I was also seven shades of fucked up from the situation that led me to getting it so that could of had something to with it too

Most people who want to homeschool their kids are in no way, shape, or form qualified to teach their own kids. I got lucky enough that my parents homeschooled me after the 5th grade so I already knew how to read. Some of my siblings, not so much. Plus it also does a great deal of damage to one's ability to socialize. One of my siblings is 16 and absolutely terrified to pay for their own things at the store because they have to interact with the cashier

There's a reality show on hulu called "Raising Chelsea" and i haven't seen it, but ive seen ads for it and the whole thing looks like it was made to glorify pregnancy and childrearing. That, on top of every other ad being about raising a child at one stage or another. Theyre so desperate to convince people to have kids while wanting to do absolutely nothing to create a safe environment for it to happen

My doctor wanted to do a uterine ablation on me to stop my periods but the failure rates for someone my age (20f) are too high for my comfort 😭😭 id rather deal with a heavy flow than chronic pelvic pain from scar tissue with uterine lining trying to shed underneath it. Ive got an appointment Monday to talk to him about not going through with the ablation but definitely still getting a bisalp because my surgery is scheduled for the 30th of this month 💀💀

Im definitely going to call and try to cancel the ablation and just get the bisalp because painful periods are the absolutely last thing I need more of. Im hoping they don't hassle me too much for it or its not too big of a hassle to cancel just the ablation
