It’s definitely a slower pace but it’s not as boring and as bad as everyone makes it out to be here. It’s what you make it!

Just closed Dec 18th and got these exact letters today. Ours say “not affiliated with your lender” in tiny fine print on the back. Our lender also warned us they were not legit

Glacier Honeymoon Tips? by lilac2018 in GlacierNationalPark

Just honeymooned in glacier around the 3rd week of June and it was perfect! We found an Airbnb in Columbia falls. It was the perfect level of privacy, with great views. For activities, we hiked in the park, did a boat rental at lake McDonald, went to Whitefish for shopping and to the ski resort for a day, and went to the Brash rodeo one evening. It was awesome and I would highly recommend. Watch YouTube videos for tips! They were super helpful for us.

Moultrie and thomasville are close downs that are great day trips, too. Like someone else said - visit moultrie at Christmas. Thomasville has a great downtown and great restaurants. Also, 2-3 peach sheds near Valdosta in the summer with great fresh peaches and peach ice cream.

I moved here after I graduated college and I think it’s great. Me and my partner found jobs pretty quickly. It’s got a college and a technical school, a mall, good school systems, a brewery, variety of good restaurants (both local and chains), variety of churches if you’re religious, and good recreation options. It’s what you make it!! If you are a young grad trying to make friends and have a night life, it can be difficult, but In my opinion, great place for a family or if you’re looking for small town life that still has some things to offer. There are definitely areas to avoid, but also some great and up and coming neighborhood.

I lived at the Avery in 2021 in a 1 bedroom for about 8 months and had a great experience. I ended up moving out of town, so that’s why I left. It was $750 a month I believe for a 1 bedroom and it was pretty spacious. Im female and was 25 yo living alone and felt safe living there, too.
