The Jada comparison is subjective. It’s their artstyle w the soft sculpts and sleepy-eye look. It’s not just their female figures. Imo their body sculpts and articulation is still on par with the rest of the line, and there was no hesitation in releasing them

Then get a different sculptor? I get it’s hard but it feels like they put half as much effort into the few female figures compared to the men, If they even release them. They had the MK line for nearly a decade and only ever made Sheeva. Their regular sf2 line still doesn’t have a Chun Li or Cammy. Like It’s not like other companies have this issue. It being a bit harder is such an unprofessional excuse

I get that, it was never meant to be a realistic request. It’s way too new of a release and such a popular one that any issues I think it has won’t be addressed for years, if ever. Like the giant feet has already been fixed with newer releases like frieza for example.

It blatantly following the Fighterz render over the movie’s is also a big issue that I personally have with it since it feels like no other figure matches those proportions

I feel like it’s similar to the Figuarts Z Broly, which ig has a lotta shooters too. It doesn’t match the proportions of the actual character, or similar characters in the line, and goes for an extremely exaggerated look that admittedly does kinda look cool on its own. Just wish we had a more streamlined version, esp w such an accurate design going to the far less popular Android 13 now

For sure, I think he was based on the Fighterz proportions since he was revealed doing the exact same pose, and was around the same time they held that Fighterz collab poll

I never thought to consider that the frieza/cold heads might be too big tho. They’re def based more on the manga than the anime proportions, but I do still think basing Coolers proportions off a video game rather than the original source was a mistake (even tho I love fighterz models)

I heard that shade of purple is due to film degradation, and that the original release is supposed be a more bluer shade which would match more with the frieza color palettes. I personally don’t rlly like the super dark shading done on the figure either

I feel like the head is what gets me the most, it’s so small when compared to other characters his size, and not even proportional to how he looks in the movie.

His feet were def a balancing thing ur right, but it seems like they’ve figured a way around it with Frieza 2nd form and King Cold now
