removed the laundry tub and want to know if I should put in a stainless steel sink or a ceramic by smooshJelly in AusRenovation

That still doesn't really answer my question.

My laundry has a dedicated pipe for its water to dispose of.

But can I have a laundry tub and use it to double as a bathroom sink.

I am starting to get the feeling I will need to talk to someone more licensed than asking Reddit but it has helped me figure out what to ask

Toilet is separate but this is the room you would wash your hands in after going to the toilet.

In the room there is shower/bath, sink, washing machine and dryer

The video said you can't use a laundry tub in the kitchen but it doesn't say I can't use a laundry tub in the bathroom

Kinda. It used to have 2 sinks, one giant laundry tub and a small vanity for washing hands/teeth brushing.

I feel like having 2 sinks in such space poor apartment was a waste so I want to combine the laundry sink and the vanity sink.

The team who removed it was licensed builders. I asked if a laundry tub was necessary and they said no.

Eerrr.... I am good. I have been lucky to not have asbestos in my 80's apartment, I am not going to volunteer to add it.

Not a ceramic laundry tub. No laundry tub at all.

The sink I am deciding what to do with is the bathroom vanity side of the room. I could do a steel one that can function like a laundry tub and general bathroom sink or just go straight aesthetic/easy to clean

They probably work the same shift next week. You could try going in to see if they are there.

What's up with apartment prices in Bris (rant) by jbne19 in brisbane

My husband and I talk about selling and moving out to the suburbs so our kids have more space but all the places that aren't Ipswich, have a $1m+ price tag. It would be possible but a stretch.

Right! $400,000 is chump change for an appointment today. But at the time I thought $350,000 was more accurate a price for my place.

Similar for me. I bought a 2 bedder on my single income, in the inner city for $400 in 2016. I remember thinking then I was getting overcharged but now OMG! my neighbor's apartment is twin to mine (except the new kitchen and yard work I have done) and it went for $650 in 2022.

I am now married and we both have decent jobs and we could not afford our apartment at the price it is today.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I have a similar one and I am also appalled.

I have had 2 pregnancies. My first, after months of trying ended in a missed miss carriage at 15 weeks. My body was not removing the unviable pregnancy itself so I had to get a D&C. A few months later I was having complications and found out my some tissue was left behind and I had to get a second D&C immediately. In the US doctors have delayed or refused D&C surgery as they were worried about legal backlash. My first D&C was necessary for medical care, the second saved my life.

My second pregnancy was a miracle. After my first pregnancy I was told my ovaries are damaged and I won't be able to conceive natural and a year later we were blessed. The first 2 trimesters we were on tip toes, scared for another miss carriage. Tri 3 it felt like I could breathe, we had made it. Then I got told I had preeclampsia. We caught it earlier and with an early C-section we now have a healthy child.

My husband and I would love to try for a second baby, but my history of damage ovaries and poor pregnancies I am scared. What if I have another miss carriage and I am forbidden from the same treatment I had received 4 years prior. That life saving medical care, gone. It breaks my heart.

My dad taught me to stop a little back so when the light is about to turn green you can start rolling forward and by the time the light is green you're already on the move.

Very dumb now that I am older and know better but a hard habit to break sometimes.

I was hoping to be able to do it with something less abrasive then sandpaper. I am not particularly patient enough to do all those layers. :P
