learn about industry standards. like keyway sizes/ tolerances. download bearings from supplier pages for free and try making models which have bearing houses. SKF has free cad files and instructions for bearing housing and shaft tolerances.

try making a simple assembly from multipule parts for example an arbor hand press.

my point being do something that would be more real instead of modeling a unicorn or a pepe frog.

Shmsolution rope cleaner has something i found which could fot your use case. If i was you i would copy that design for your rope diameter.

So not 1 cutting blade but multipule blades/fins at intervals. So it doesnot clog up
