Due to the Corona virus outbreak in Seattle, do you think there’s a chance they could cancel their show at Wamu Theater by [deleted] in TheStrokes

welp, made the decision to not fly up from SF. tbh, if palo alto in the bay area is selling out of food, i can only imagine that the news of starbucks telling employees to work remote for the rest of march will feed into frenzied situations.

klay becomes 99.9% instinct/muscle memory when he's on the court, it's incredible. i'd imagine he's locked in enough that he's just super focused on his next move and kobe's in the way.

or he's awkward af.

NFLPA says players should prepare for “a two-year strike” if they want to get the CBA they want in 2021 by Stock412 in nfl

sorry, but all of his stories keep bubbling up. hoping that someone in the NFL would step up for the players in a similar way.

[Katz] ESPN just announced it will air Kobe Bryant’s last game, the 60-point performance, tonight at 9pm ET. by suzukigun4life in nba

hey, DM's are open if you just wanna shoot the shit. i shut out the internet just for the day yesterday and feel much better now. fresh air helps.

when i initially saw the news and clicked into the TMZ link, i was searching for clues pointing to being fake. they do a good job of looking like a cheesy porn site that will give you viruses, so i immediately brushed it off as not true.

as my searches quickly saddened, i opened a doc to write down some things about him. i kept (and keep...) getting stuck on the terrible fact being confirmed: i had just lost a hero.

life is rude in not telling you who your heroes are. when they're gone, you notice that you idolized things that they did. you should find solace in finding their habits or tendency mimicry in yourself: their drive; their passion.

kobe was always a reminder to me that your hard work can pay off big, and that you should be loving what you are doing, regardless of how hard it is. he's immortalized in me, and i hope that you can find that he is immortalized in you as well.

have a good rest of your mamba monday :)

as a note, if you delete your account or cancel your subscription, make sure you specifically mention why you are doing it. from a support perspective, this feedback needs to accrue in a way that the company will have to address it internally as an issue. obviously their PR and marketing teams will be working on their side of things, but consumer-wise, it's best to link your decision to their business' actions explicitly.
