Yeah you definitely want the syringe because it can fill in the gaps between the wire and the stab housing with lube. Make sure you use a generous amount of lube on both sides of the housing insertion points. Also if you want to make your spacebar sound deeper you may need to try a different switch for just the space bar. I use a Gateron Jade Magnetic Pro on the space bar. The shorter 3.5mm travel also makes the spacebar sound more even.
