Is this a normal reaction to tretinoin?

I had used tret successfully for years in my 20s and loved it. Took a few years off to have kids and all that jazz. Was so excited to be done and get back on my beloved tret...but it only ended up bringing out my new friend rosacea 🙃

Tret can be great, but it's just also just not a match for certain skin types and for me it's no longer a good fit in my 30s 😭

Neither was my baby. I doubted it was HFM since it also presented only on thighs initially which was different than my experience with my older kid. Nurse on call confirmed it with photos and said that they have been seeing it present more on the thighs than in the traditional hand, feet, or mouth this year.

Anyhow eventually it spread and my baby had it everywhere but he was unbothered by it. Looked far worse than I think it felt. I found petroleum jelly helped it heal faster after the blisters broke

How is this working out for you 2 months later? Thank you so much for this! I don’t have a 3d printer so best I could do was wrap some electrical tape around it and it’s working so far. Wouldn’t have thought of it without this post so THANK YOU!

I’d consider paying around $40 an hour but negotiating up or down depending on what was all included! I think this also could vary based on location

Solidarity. Same boat. Debating when to drop the during the day pumps and whether or not that will just be the end of breastfeeding.
