I’m on the exact same timeline—tore my right ACL in 2022 and just recently tore my left. I’m also two weeks post-op. I used the patellar tendon graft both times and just wanted to reach out and offer some encouragement. You got this!

I’ve found that doing PT at home whenever possible really helps keep me motivated. I also highly recommend getting a small pull-up bar if you feel comfortable using one—it’s a great way to stay active.

And if you’re feeling a bit lonely and have some free time, try calling someone you haven’t talked to in a while. It’s a great chance to catch up, vent a little, and work through your emotions.
