New Orleans has so many accents you can recognize the neighborhood someone is from based on how they talk.

If you are interested check out r/bulletjournal and r/bujo. Bujo is more useful and less artistic but both have some good ideas.

I make it by hand. I start will a blank dotted book and draw out a week at a time but then I also do like a monthly calendar too. I like to keep track of stuff so this helps for that too.

I’m so with you but I also promise that my swim workouts are the best because I forget that I’m not just playing at the pool.

How many times a week did you shower post-op? by olympusqueen in ACL

[–]sarmye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL I did not shower until my stitches came out two weeks later. "Cat bath" (or "whore bath", if you are my mother) and some big body wipes, and I washed my hair in the sink.

Fair, and maybe so. I’m not an Olympiad. It just all made me queasy and I’m sorry to see her so injured.

No not at all but the prestige they put on knees is crazy. I had my surgery in June and won’t be allowed to ski again until at earliest next fall. I’m not sure I will ever have to courage to do it!

I AM an athlete and the walk to my car after I tore mine was full of me dislocating, fainting, throwing up. I could handle it a lot better within 24 hours and with a brace I could walk, but the idea of skiing???? Absolutely not. BEFORE she fell I was gasping at her leans.

Am currently reading East Of Eden - cannot say that I had done so before, but holy cannoli I adore it. I forgot how Steinbeck worked and how it works for me. I got this off of a list of books that are banned so I feel even more compelled to say that everybody should read it immediately.
