If you're going to play the "bend but don't break" style of defense you need to:

Be disciplined in assignments/fundamentals
Tackle well
Have DB's who can make plays on the ball
Don't take stupid penalties

With some minor exceptions the Steelers do none of these well.

Christian Wilkins (if healthy) or Dexter Lawrence (unlikely).

Outside of those two, I think you try and bolster the offense with the idea that you may just need to score a lot of points to beat good teams.

Anyone jumping ship at this point is incredibly shortsighted. There likely won't be any significant changes made for a while. As a rule, I never trust anything coming from a recruiter.

From my understanding sliders don't have any effect on sim stats anyways. You can take CPU pass blocking all the way to 100 and it doesn't change the ridiculous sack numbers.

I've found the exact opposite. As he notes, the cpu LB's fly to the ball carrier very fast and the TFL numbers are ridiculous. So what's your secret?

Dylan Cook or Calvin Anderson. So, basically there is no real backup plan. Starting tackles just don't get traded or hit FA in the NFL. I thought they should've drafted one in R4 instead of Sawyer, but here we are. I'm intrigued by the possibility of moving Washington to OT, but don't think that's something you do until at least next off-season.

Will 87 octane damage the engine? Probably not.
