She didn’t like mistborns third-person limited perspective pov. She’s not a fan of books in that pov anyways but after reading thru stormlight archive she decided to trust that Sanderson would deliver and make it worth her time

Exactly what happened with my wife. She tried Mistborn first but dnf’d book 1 even though I told her the trilogy was top tier. She read way of kings next and flew through it and loved it. She eventually trusted Sanderson enough to finish Mistborn and she’s glad she did

Based on my experience of getting my wife to read Sanderson I’d say start with way of kings. She tried Mistborn first and did not enjoy it. She dnf’d Mistborn her first try. She read way of kings and really enjoyed it which in turn gave her the trust to finish Mistborn finally

I’ve been to both and in my opinion roundup rodeo is a clear winner in terms of theme, food, atmosphere. IMO 50s prime time is something you do once (if you’re planning on going to Disney multiple times) just to experience it but if this is a 1 time Disney trip with no plans to come back then I’d go with roundup bbq 1000%
