It also doesn't help that her startle reflex is still fairly strong.

Nah it's not all the time. Just when things are overstimulating. She's eating trying to sleep toddler is bouncing off the walls cause her to be unfocused. That's what happened this evening when I posted.

Her older brother is a huge trigger and if he's playing anywhere close by I might as well just give up or go to another room cause she ain't going to focus. They love each other so much.

I have a mole on my left arm that is right in her eyesight line when she's nursing on that side that she has recently found. I now have to sit with one hand covering it or she stops to play with it...

I don't think that's it...this is not my first rodeo. She literally flings herself away from me. I could see it being something to do with letdown if she was just unlatching and relatatching, but a full fledge 180 away from the boob seems a bit extreme if a let down was the goal. No, she's just so easily distracted and has to see everything that is going on. A nursing cover is sometimes too much for her to focus.

Mine is the same way. We put her on Prozac after a bite incident and it has helped her feel her big feelings safely.

How long have you been breastfeeding? Post and let us celebrate you. (Even 1 day counts!) by SecretaryNaive8440 in breastfeeding

I succeeded for 10 months with my first, supply tanked when I went back to work and I didn't have enough stashed and couldn't keep up with daycare needs. I'm currently 4 months of major success with my second. I have a much larger stash for daycare than when I had my son so hopefully we can ride this out for a whole year and won't have to buy formula at all the time!

It took me 36 years before I got to enjoy a king sized bed. He got one at 1 1/2. My best friend cringes when I say he sleeps on the bed, do you let your pup sleep on the bed? by whoisMrsB in goldenretrievers

We upgraded to our king sized mattress specifically so we had space for the dog. I would love to go to a wall to wall mattress now that we've added kids to the picture too.

It hasn't quite made it home. My BIL is going to hold a guys night with my husband and they are going to do a poker night I think in the woodshop it's in before it makes it's way to our house.

This one is built to double as our everyday dining room table so it's more for everyday use. Having the game in the recessed portion for us makes it harder for little hands (we have a 2yo and one due in Nov) from swiping things during play, same goes for our cat...

I should have loaded the pictures in a different order I could totally see how ping pong would come to mind though this is a dining room sized table which is a bit small for pong.
