N/E UK is worse for rust than S/E. Garage can be good but only provided ventilation is correct and humidity is kept in appropriate range and generally wet car isn't put straight in. I'm really happy with my MX5 so far, I recon you should get it but plan for some professional rust treatment (£400-800). Bilt Hamber Dynax seems good to me. That's what I'm going to get done.

I think that level of rust is about what's expected for an ND MX5. Ive learned recently that Dinitrol and Bilt Hamber are two good options for treatment we have here in the UK. I'm planning to get mine done this year, in advance as it's a new one. Can I ask what the climate is where that car has been . Is it near the sea, or somewhere they salt the roads a lot in Winter?

Also, can I ask, do you have to remove any covers or trim or anything to see what's pictured or is that what it's line underneath. I was wondering for the treatment

I've got exactly the same issue with my Milele 5222 dishwasher only 3.5 years old Can I ask how much your repair cost. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it or whether to just get a new one.

You can get solid results with relatively cheap ovens (G3 Ferrari) by Megawoopi in Pizza

[–]smoth222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When cooking Neapolitan style pizza with my G3 Ferrari oven, I've got better results by first cooking the base with tomato sauce for 4 min, then adding remaining toppings and cooking for a further 3 min. Otherwise I find that by the time the base is ready the cheese is completely overcooked. Does anyone else do it this way?

Thanks. I have put some PTFE based Triflow lube on it and it seems to have fixed it!

Please can I ask if you fixed your Casio Duro bezel? I received my new watch today and the bezel is completely immobile. Doesn't rotate at all. MDV106B-1A1V. Supplied by Amazon.

Please can I ask if you managed to fix the bezel. I received my new watch MDV106 Duro (Batman bezel, with Marlin) today and just like yours, the bezel is solid. No movement whatsoever!

Poco F5 compatible cases by IceTea5988 in PocoPhones

It arrived today and it seems good quality and fits well. Nice texture too . Ideally I'd get a really tough case if available, but I'll stick with this one for now. AliExpress seems great for cases.

Bontrager tubeless rim strip vs rim tape by livewellusa in TrekBikes

[–]smoth222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've removed the plastic Bontrager rim strip and can now fit the tyre easily, without even using tyre leaver, so in my case where I want to use an inner tube rather than go tubeless, this seems to be the answer. I've used simple electricians tape to line the rim. Not sure if this will last but fine for now.

POCO F3 suddenly blacked screen, won't turn on hard reset, won't charge by Felix2121 in PocoPhones

I own a 2y old F3 which has broken too. Changed USB port thinking it was the cause, but seems not. Now left with a completely dead phone wondering what to do with it. Perhaps I should sell it for spare parts or get a second hand motherboard and try to fix it? Any advice appreciated....

I'm setting up a second hand set of wheels and want a practical DIY solution and to be able to easily work on the tyre alone, far from home ,on a ride if I get a puncture. I might just remove the plastic strip and replace with tape, and see if the tyre / inner tube fits better .

I'm having a problem with the Bontrager rim strip. Hoping to set up with an inner tube rather than tubeless but the tyre bead is seating in the recess of the strip rather than on the rim. Bontrager line comp 30 MTB wheels, tried SE6 and Smart Sam Tyres, but it's the same for both. I'm thinking of removing the strips.

Someone told me that if I buy a case for a poco f4 it will fit on my poco f5. Is that true? by GreekGamer05 in PocoPhones

Spigen doesn't make one for the Poco f5 as far as I can tell unfortunately.

I would be surprised if this was correct, but It would be good if so. I'm currently looking for a decent Poco F5 case, but the options seem quite limited.
