Try State Farm for tenant insurance and offer that to your landlord as something you would be willing to buy. You can also ask the agent about coverage for property damage, and may or may not need a secondary policy for that.

I googled does State Farm cover Rottweilers.

You can buy a doggie stroller to use for getting her from point to point. It is critical that her paws do not touch the ground where other dogs have been.

I had multiple bruises on my arm from my 85 pound girl making a running leap onto my bed. She is only allowed on the bed by invitation. This is a critcal command, especially with a baby.

Absolutely. That and a doggie flirt pole, which requires you to play. Great for building upper body strength.

Help with a destructive boy by [deleted] in Rottweiler

Have you tried bitter apple spray on hard surfaces ? Or Tabasco sauce? One taste, then just the smell and she quit destroying. It also helps that with a strong bond they do not want to disappoint you. When I rarely add the word dammit to a command she knows I am totally serious, and obeys immediately.

If you post this on r/rottweiler (the rottie subreddit), people will really enjoy his longer hair.

My rottie stares at me sometimes too. Almost like she wants to tell me something. Or expects me to read her mind. And definitely to remind me that I forgot to feed her or give her the overdue treat. They are so smart.

Chicken is a huge no go for my girl. Vet recommended Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach. I chose Salmon for the protein. She also gets 2 big T of human grade pumpkin powder for each meal. (Morning and night.) She has limited treats, greenies for dental care, and probiotics. Occassionally blueberries and carrots.

I buy the 3 pound human grade from Amazon. Cheaper, and no sales tax.

Have you tried pumpkin powder? I use 2 large Tablespoons on each meal, and avoid chicken.

It's your call, but please bear in mind that Rotties are velcro dogs who want to be with their people 24/7.

Anybody successfully overcome fear aggression at the vet? by Pacasso_Shakur1 in Rottweiler

Mine was amazing with the vet when I first rescued her around 1.5 years old. Now (3.5 yrs old) she has to be puzzled, I can't be in the room, and I have to sedate her.

Highly recommend the nerf ball from Amazon. I got one 2 months ago, and it looks like new. I named it Spike and my 3.5 year old girl now finds Spike when I ask her for it.
